Banana Circle adalah satu pengajaran menggunakan pendekatan STEAM projek. Pendekatan ini perlu diaplikasi oleh guru agar pelaksanaan pendidikan abad ke 21 berjaya direalisasikan. Walaubagaimanapun, guru-guru di prasekolah menghadapi kesukaran untuk melaksanakannya pengajaran STEAM kerana tiada panduan yang jelas berkaitan pelaksanaan pengajaran STEAM. Sehubungan dengan itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka pelaksanaan Banana Circle sebagai satu pengajaran STEAM yang berkesan serta dapat meningkatkan perkembangan sosioemosi murid-murid di prasekolah. Pelaksanaan Banana Circle ini melibatkan sembilan belas orang murid yang berumur empat, lima dan enam tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pemerhatian berstruktur semasa pelaksanaan tiga langkah pengajaran STEAM projek iaitu (1) Perbualan Bahasa STEAM, (2) Mencari STEAM di mana-mana dan (3) STEAM Masa Depan. Dapatan kajian yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 22.0 untuk melihat nilai min dan sisihan piawai. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan murid enam tahun mempunyai perkembangan sosioemosi yang lebih tinggi dalam aspek kematangan emosi dan kerjasama. Bagi murid lima tahun pula mereka dilihat lebih menonjol dalam aspek bertanggungjawab, manakala murid empat tahun lebih menyerlah dalam aspek berdikari, keberanian dan persahabatan. Secara keseluruhannya, Banana Circle dapat meningkatkan perkembangan sosioemosi murid-murid prasekolah.
