Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap komitmen kerja, kompetensi dan prestasi kerja, mengenal pasti perbezaan komitmen kerja, kompetensi dan prestasi kerja berdasarkan jantina, umur, pendidikan dan pengalaman mengajar. Kajian ini turut mengenal pasti pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi dan komitmen kerja terhadap prestasi kerja serta mengenal pasti komitmen kerja sebagai mediator antara kompetensi dan prestasi kerja. Kaedah tinjauan digunakan dalam kajian ini dengan mengedarkan soal selidik. Seramai 278 orang ketua panitia dari 39 buah sekolah menengah kebangsaan yang terdapat di negeri Pahang telah terlibat sebagai responden kajian. Pemilihan sampel adalah secara persampelan strata. Analisis data kajian adalah menggunakan perisian SPSS dan SmartPLS. Analisis deskriptif mendapati komitmen kerja (M=4.14, SD=0.416), kompetensi kerja (M=4.16, SD=0.216) dan prestasi kerja (M=4.11, SD=0.364) ketua panitia berada pada tahap tinggi. Hasil analisis inferens mendapati tidak ada perbezaan komitmen kerja, kompetensi dan prestasi kerja berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar. Analisis menggunakan PLS-SEM pula mendapati terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi dengan komitmen kerja (β=0.314, t=5.271, p
