Dunia masa kini menyaksikan perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat di serata dunia. Ledakan penggunaan teknologi ini telah mengubah ekosistem dalam pendidikan dan mempengaruhi pendekatan kepada apresiasi seni dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Seni Visual. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka kepelbagaian teknologi serta alat yang digunakan untuk tujuan apresiasi seni termasuk konsep, ciri-ciri dan bagaimana teknologi itu berfungsi. Kajian kualitatif ini menggunakan teknik sorotan literatur dan juga pemerhatian. Penggunaan teknologi melalui muzium digital merupakan usaha untuk memudahkan guru dan murid ke arah memenuhi keperluan apresiasi seni dalam pendidikan dan juga memelihara warisan budaya tidak ketara agar tidak pupus. Kesimpulannya, muzium digital adalah revolusi teknologi untuk mengekalkan fungsi serta peranan dalam apresiasi seni. Penggunaan teknologi harus disesuaikan dengan mengambil kira nilai etika bagi memelihara serta memulihara karya dan juga artifak untuk memastikan kebolehcapaian dan apresiasi seni yang berterusan.
