Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
The adoption of virtual reality (VR) in architectural design is increasing, driven by its ability to create immersive simulated environments. This is particularly advantageous in residential space design, where understanding and evaluating solutions is critical. Although extensive research has focused on basic VR applications, few have explored VR modules tailored for residential design. Our study fills this gap by developing a VR module designed specifically for this purpose. We use a mixed-methods approach, blending quantitative analysis with qualitative feedback, to demonstrate how this VR module can improve design quality, efficiency, and user engagement. © 2024 Hua Zhu et al.
