Abstract : |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis amalan penggunaan air dalam kalangan pelajar tingkatan empat daerah Kinta Utara, Perak. Kajian ini memilih metod kuantitatif melalui instrument soal selidik yang melibatkan seramai 420 pelajar sekolah menengah. Persampelan rawak mudah digunakan untuk memilih iaitu pelajar tingkatan empat di daerah Kinta Utara, Perak. Data kajian dikumpul melalui borang soal selidik yang berfokus pada lima pemboleh ubah iaitu pengetahuan, nilai, kemahiran, sikap dan amalan penggunaan air secara lestari. Analisis kajian untuk meneliti tahap amalan penggunaan air secara lestari. Seterusnya analisis inferensi (kolerasi Pearson dan regresi berganda) digunakan untuk meneliti hubungan dan sumbangan setiap pemboleh ubah kajian. Dapatan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahawa tahap amalan penggunaan air secara lestari bagi pelajar adalah sederhana. Seterusnya analisis kolerasi Pearson menunjukkan bahawa keempat-empat pemboleh ubah tidak bersandar mempunyai hubungan positif yang lemah dan sangat lemah dengan amalan penggunaan air secara lestari. Manakala dapatan analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahawa hanya faktor sikap dan faktor kemahiran sahaja meyumbang terhadap amalan penggunaan air secara lestari. Ini jelas membuktikan amalan penggunaan air pelajar masih pada tahap yang tidak boleh dibanggakan. Justeru langkah berbentuk pendidikan kelestarian air menerusi kurikulum dan kokurikulum perlu diambil supaya para pelajar sedar kepentingan amalan penjimatan air dan mengamalkan amalan penggunaan air secara lestari dalam aktiviti harian. |
