Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Pertandingan koir merupakan satu medan persaingan yang hebat antara sekolah- sekolah
rendah yang bertanding. Persaingan ini wujud kerana pasukan koir masing- masing ingin
memperoleh pingat emas, meningkatkan mutu ataupun menunjukkan kualiti persembahan mereka.
Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat ciri-ciri repertoir, penguasaan teknik vokal
dan pelaksanaan kaedah latihan kumpulan koir berprestasi cemerlang untuk memperoleh
kemenangan dalam pertandingan koir di kebangsaan dan di peringkat antarabangsa. Sebanyak tiga
buah kumpulan koir sekolah rendah berprestasi cemerlang di Negeri Selangor telah terlibat dalam
kajian ini. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk kajian kes dengan kaedah kualitatif. Data bagi
kajian ini diperoleh melalui tiga instrumen iaitu analisis dokumen, temu bual, dan pemerhatian.
Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa proses pemilihan repertoir berpusatkan kumpulan koir dan
penguasaan teknik vokal melalui kaedah latihan telah menyumbang kemenangan sesebuah
kumpulan koir berprestasi cemerlang. Pengkaji berharap kajian ini dapat memberi manfaat serta
panduan yang berguna kepada pentadbiran, guru-guru muzik sekolah rendah berkaitan pedagogi
koral dan pelbagai faktor yang
mempengaruhi kejayaan kumpulan koir sekolah rendah.
