Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan menilai keberkesanan pendekatan Flipped Classroom (FC)
terhadap pencapaian, minat dan tahap motivasi pelajar. Kajian juga turut menilai hubungan
antara tahap interaksi sosial dengan pencapaian pelajar serta hubungan antara efikasi
kendiri dengan pencapaian pelajar. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen telah
digunakan di dalam kajian ini. Pemilihan subjek kajian dijalankan secara persampelan bertujuan
melibatkan 60 orang pelajar tingkatan empat aliran sastera yang mengambil mata pelajaran Pendidikan
Seni Visual (PSV) di dua buah sekolah dalam daerah Pekan. Sampel kajian dibahagikan kepada dua
kumpulan iaitu 30 orang pelajar kumpulan rawatan dan 30 orang pelajar kumpulan kawalan.
Tiga jenis instrumen kajian digunakan iaitu instrumen ujian pencapaian, soal selidik minat dan
motivasi serta tatacara pembelajaran PSV berasaskan pendekatan FC. Analisis inferensi secara
ujian-t sampel tidak bersandar, ujian t sampel bersandar dan ujian korelasi Pearson digunakan
dalam kajian ini. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa perbezaan terhadap pencapaian akademik secara
signifikan pada aras keyakinan 0.05 dengan min pencapaian akademik kumpulan rawatan
(m=59.80) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kumpulan kawalan (m=36.07), minat pelajar
dalam kumpulan rawatan meningkat daripada sebelum (m=3.31) kepada selepas rawatan (m=4.19) dan
tahap motivasi pelajar dalam kumpulan rawatan juga meningkat daripada sebelum (m=3.58)
kepada selepas rawatan (m=4.61). Analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan wujud hubungan lemah
(r=0.3) dan signifikan (p.05) antara tahap efikasi kendiri dengan pencapaian pelajar kumpulan
rawatan. Kesimpulan daripada kajian menunjukkan bahawa pendekatan FC telah meningkatkan
pencapaian, minat dan tahap motivasi pelajar dalam mata pelajaran PSV. Seterusnya, secara
tidak langsung memberi kesan positif dalam memperkasa elemen pembelajaran abad ke-21 terutama
elemen kolaboratif dan komunikasi, disamping meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir aras tinggi
(KBAT) para pelajar. Melalui kajian ini juga terhasilnya tatacara
pembelajaran PSV berasaskan pendekatan FC.
