Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti wujudnya hubungan antara budaya sekolah
dengan komitmen organisasi dalam kalangan guru-guru Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Zon
Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. Reka bentuk kajian yang digunakan adalah kajian kuantitatif
statistik deskriptif dan inferensi. Kajian ini adalah penyelidikan kuantitatif dengan
menggunakan kaedah tinjauan. Satu set soal selidik elemen budaya sekolah dan
komitmen organisasi yang diubahsuai daripada "School Culture Triage Survey" dan
"Employee Commitment Survey" yang terdiri daripada 48 item skala Likert telah
digunakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 23. Pemilihan responden
kajian dijalankan secara pensampelan rawak mudah yang melibatkan guru-guru yang
berkhidmat di 36 buah sekolah kebangsaan (SK) yang terdapat di Zon Sentul. Populasi
yang telah dikenal pasti adalah seramai 2250 orang guru maka saiz sampel yang dipilih
adalah seramai 327 orang guru (Krejcie & Morgan, 1970). Dapatan kajian menunjukkan
wujudnya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara budaya sekolah dan komitmen
organisasi dengan penilaian tahap budaya sekolah yang berada pada tahap tinggi dan
komitmen organisasi pada tahap sederhana. Nilai Pearson r ialah (327, p = 0.000) =
0.289, p < 0.05. Nilai koefisien (r = 0.289) adalah signifikan pada paras keertian 0.05
menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara budaya sekolah dengan komitmen
organisasi. Budaya sekolah mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi di kalangan guru
Sekolah Kebangsaan Zon Sentul. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa budaya sekolah
yang positif dapat mewujudkan komitmen organisasi yang tinggi selaras meningkatkan
pencapaian sesebuah sekolah. |
