Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenalpasti Kebimbangan Dalam Pembelajaran Matematik
(KDPM) bagi pelajar Tingkatan Dua di sekolah menengah di daerah Raub. Kajian ini
turut menyelidik pengaruh KDPM terhadap pencapaian dan sikap pelajar terhadap
matematik daripada empat kategori sekolah iaitu Sekolah Menengah Harian (SMK),
Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SMJKC), Sekolah Menengah Rancangan
Khas (SBTK) dan Sekolah Menengah Agama (SMA). Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 349
orang pelajar sekolah menengah di daerah Raub, Pahang yang dipilih secara rawak
berstrata. Kajian kes ini menggunakan instrumen soal-selidik. Statistik deskriptif iaitu
kekerapan, min dan sisihan piawai dan statistik inferens seperti ujian-t, ANOVA dan
Korelasi Pearson telah digunakan. Secara keseluruhannya, dapatan kajian menunjukkan
bahawa pelajar bersetuju (M=2.56; SP=0.35) bahawa mereka mengalami KDPM.
Berdasarkan kategori sekolah pula, min tertinggi bagi KDPM adalah daripada pelajar
SMA (M=2.73; SP=0.33) dan min terendah adalah daripada pelajar SMJC (M=2.47;
SP=0.30). Dalam konteks jantina pula, ujian-t menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat
perbezaan yang signifikan mengenai KDPM antara pelajar lelaki dan perempuan [t(347)=
-1.73, p>0.05]. Perbandingan kategori sekolah berdasarkan ujian ANOVA menunjukkan
terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan [F(3, 345)= 9.92, p |
