Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan menentukan tahap hubungan antara motivasi kerja guru dengan prestasi kerja guru-guru  di  Sekolah  Kebangsaan  di  Daerah  Manjung,  Perak.  Seramai  200  responden  iaitu   guru lelaki  (n=87)  dan  guru  perempuian  (n=113)  kajian  terdiri  daripada  guru-guru  sekolah   Tamil  di daerah  Manjung,  Perak  terlibat  dalam  kajian  ini  yang  dipilih  secara  persampelan   rawak  berlapis (stratified  random  sampling).  Antara  instrumen  kajian  yang  digunakan  ialah   satu  set  soal  selidik yang diadaptasikan dan diubahsuai daripada Communication Satisfication  Questionnaire Databank yang  dibangunkan  oleh  Downs  dan  Hazen.  Data  yang  diperoleh   dianalisis  menggunakan  statistik deskriptif  dan  inferense  seperti  peratusan,  min,  sisihan   piawai  dan  korelasi  pearson.  Dapatan menunjukkan  nilai  min  motivasi  kerja  guru  berkaitan   aspek  gaji  (M=3.13,  sp=0.81),  kenaikan pangkat (M=3.10, sp=0.88), peluang melanjutkan pelajaran  (M=3.22, sp=0.78) dan kualiti peribadi (M=3.98,  sp=  0.77).  Dapatan  kajian  menunjukkan  bahawa   terdapat  hubungan  yang  kuat  antara motivasi kerja guru dari aspek kualiti peribadi dalam  kalangan guru yang berkerja di Sekolah jenis kebangsaan Tamil di Daerah Manjung dengan prestasi  kerja guru (r=0.824, p
