Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini adalah bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan jenis, punca dan
langkah mengatasi tingkah laku buli dalam kalangan murid di sekolah rendah daerah Kinta Utara.
Pendekatan kualitatif dengan reka bentuk Hermeneutik telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Instrumen
yang digunakan untuk mengumpul data kajian ialah temu bual berstruktur. Seramai 45 orang guru iaitu
15 orang guru dari setiap jenis sekolah rendah di daerah Kinta Utara, Perak telah mengambil
bahagian dalam kajian ini. Data dianalisis menggunakan Kaedah Hermeneutik yang berbentuk
interpretasi teks temu bual yang ditranskripkan kepada metateks. Dapatan kajian
menunjukkan bahawa terdapat empat tema yang diperoleh bagi soalan kajian pertama iaitu
buli secara langsung, buli secara tidak langsung, buli verbal dan buli fizikal. Jenis tingkah
laku buli yang paling kerap berlaku dalam kalangan murid yang dikaji adalah buli verbal diikuti
buli secara langsung, buli fizikal dan buli secara tidak langsung. Buli verbal merupakan
jenis tingkah laku buli yang paling kerap berlaku di ketiga-tiga jenis sekolah iaitu
SK, SJK(C) dan SJK(T). Manakala, punca utama yang menyebabkan berlakunya tingkah laku buli
dalam kalangan murid adalah sikap negatif yang terdapat dalam diri murid serta kekurangan
perhatian dan kasih sayang dari ibu bapa. Sementara itu, langkah mengatasi tingkah
laku buli yang paling banyak diamalkan oleh guru-guru ialah melalui khidmat nasihat dan
bimbingan kaunseling kepada murid-murid, tetapi langkah yang diambil oleh guru-guru di
setiap jenis sekolah adalah berbeza. Hal ini kerana, guru-guru di SK dan SJK(C) memilih untuk
memberi khidmat nasihat dan bimbingan kaunseling kepada murid untuk mengatasi buli
manakala guru di SJK(T) lebih cenderung untuk mendedahkan tentang tingkah laku buli dan
memberikan didikan agama kepada murid-murid. Kesimpulannya, didapati bahawa langkah mengatasi
tingkah laku buli berbeza di setiap jenis sekolah. Implikasi dapatan kajian ini dapat dijadikan
panduan untuk pihak mengambil langkah mengatasi buli melalui khidmat nasihat dan bimbingan
kaunseling atau langkah yang lebih sesuai dengan murid di sekolah masing-masing.
