Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti pengaruh kepimpinan beretika yang diamalkan
oleh pengetua terhadap kecekapan moral guru mata pelajaran pengurusan di sekolah menengahharian
Daerah Larut Matang dan Selama, Perak. Guru mata pelajaran pengurusan yang terlibat
terdiri daripada guru mata pelajaran Ekonomi, Perniagaan, Pengajian Keusahawanan, Perdagangan
dan Prinsip Akaun. Kajian ini mengkaji multidimensi kepimpinan beretika iaitu penjagaan
beretika, kritikan beretika, dan keadilan beretika. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif.
Seramai 175 orang guru mata pelajaran pengurusan dari 31 buah sekolah menengah harian di
Daerah Larut Matang dan Selama, Perak dijadikan sampel kajian. Sampel kajian telah
dipilih menggunakan kaedah persampelan rawak mudah. Instrumen kajian adalah borang soal selidik.
Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferens. Analisis deskriptif
yang digunakan ialah min, sisihan piawai dan peratus. Analisis inferens yang digunakan adalah
ujian korelasi Pearson dan regresi pelbagai. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan penjagaan
beretika pengetua terhadap kebajikan, keperluan dan perhatian terhadap guru matapelajaran
pengurusan adalah secara tertinggi (M = 4.60, SP = 0.547). Dapatan kajian juga menunjukkan terdapat
hubungan yang signifikan, tetapi lemah di antara kepimpinan beretika pengetua dengan kecekapan
moral guru mata pelajaran pengurusan (r = 0.489, p < 0.05). Diantara ketiga-tiga dimensi
kepimpinan tersebut, dimensi keadilan beretika menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang sangat
kuat dan signifikan dengan kepimpinan beretika pengetua (r = 0.920, p < 0.05). Dapatan kajian juga
menunjukkan keadilan beretika pengetua mempengaruhi kecekapan moral guru mata pelajaran pengurusan
secara signifikan [β = 1.961, p < 0.05]. Kesimpulannya, sikap kepimpinan beretika pengetua
memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kecekapan moral guru mata pelajaran pengurusan.
Implikasinya, dapatan kajian dapat memberi informasi kepada pengetua bahawa mereka merupakan
contoh dan model kepada orang bawahan. Hasil kajian ini juga boleh dijadikan rujukan kepada
Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri dan Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia dalam membuat pendedahan awal tentang
ciri-ciri kepimpinan beretika pengetua kepada bakal pengetua daripada
segi penyediaan kursus dan latihan pemantapan kepimpinan beretika pengetua
