Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian   ini   bertujuan   menentukan   hubungan   antara   kepemimpinan   guru   dengan komitmen  organisasi  di  sekolah  menengah  kebangsaan  Zon  6  daerah  Kinta  Utara, Perak.  Konstruk kepemimpinan guru adalah berdasarkan kepada teori kepimpinan guru oleh Katzenmayer dan  Moller yang mengandungi tujuh aspek budaya iaitu tumpuan perkembangan,  pengiktirafan,  autonomi,   kesahihan,  penyertaan,  komunikasi  terbuka dan persekitaran positif. Komitmen organisasi pula  diukur menggunakan teori Mayer dan Allen yang menfokus kepada komitmen afektif, berterusan dan  normatif. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk korelasi kuantitatif. Instrumen kajian terdiri  daripada satu set soal selidik.   Sampel  kajian seramai  248  guru telah dipilih secara  rawak  mudah daripada  700  orang  guru  sekolah  menengah  daripada  zon  6  di  Daerah  Kinta  Utara,  Perak.    Instrumen    kajian    telah    disahkan    oleh    tiga    orang    pakar    dan     nilai kebolehpercayaan instrumen adalah tinggi berdasarkan pekali Alfa Cronbach α = 0.95. Statistik   deskriptif  dan  inferens  seperti  kekerapan,  peratusan,  min,  sisihan  piawai, korelasi   Pearson,  ujian-t  dan  ANOVA  telah  digunakan  untuk  menganalisis  data. Dapatan  kajian   menunjukkan  bahawa  guru  percaya  (M  =  3.87;  SP  =  0.82)  mereka mengamalkan  kepemimpinan   guru  yang  baik.  Berdasarkan  faktor  jantina,  ujian-t sampel bebas menunjukkan bahawa terdapat  perbezaan yang signifikan kepemimpinan guru berdasarkan jantina [t(246) = 2.03;  p
