Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
This study was conducted to examine the breed factor that impacts the hematological estimations of goats in the warm and humid climates. An aggregate of 28 goats were of two breeds, Saanen and Anglo-Nubian. Saanen goats were superior to Anglo-Nubian goats in with respect to hemoglobin, mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), MCH concentration and white blood cells count. Thus, this study can be one of the primary guidelines that ranchers and researchers can use to improve the productivity of goats from Saanen and Anglo-Nubian breeds in the future. ? 2021 Ecological Society of India.
