Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangun dan menguji kebolehgunaan manual fasilitator iaitu Bio-PAL Handbook: Coordination sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi fasilitator dalam mengendalikan sesi Peer Assisted Learning (PAL). Manual ini dibangunkan untuk fasilitator kursus Biologi bagi topik Koordinasi bagi Program Matrikulasi. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk Kajian Pembangunan berpandukan Model ADDIE. Nilai kesahan ditentukan melalui indeks kesahan kandungan (CVI) dan kaedah peratusan. Nilai kebolehpercayaan manual pula diperolehi melalui kajian rintis yang dijalankan ke atas 30 orang responden. Seramai 52 orang fasilitator PAL Biologi terlibat dalam kajian sebenar bagi menguji kebolehgunaan manual yang dibangunkan. Kajian mendapati nilai CVI bagi item I-CVI dan S-CVI kedua-duanya adalah menghampiri 1.00 dengan nilai peratusan iaitu 94.5%. Nilai ini menunjukkan kesahan yang sangat baik bagi Bio-PAL Handbook: Coordination. Kebolehpercayaan Bio-PAL Handbook: Coordination juga didapati sangat baik dengan nilai pekali Alpha Cronbach iaitu 0.81. Tahap kebolehgunaan Bio- PAL Handbook: Coordination pula turut mendapat nilai min keseluruhan yang sangat tinggi (4.32) berdasarkan min bagi tiga konstruk iaitu keberkesanan (4.34), kecekapan (4.35) dan kepuasan (4.28). Kesimpulannya, kajian ini berjaya menghasilkan satu manual fasilitator PAL bagi topik Koordinasi dengan tahap kebolehgunaan yang sangat tinggi. Implikasinya, Bio-PAL Handbook: Coordination dapat membantu meningkatkan kompetensi fasilitator Biologi dalam mengendalikan sesi PAL bagi topik Koordinasi.
