Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap dan kesan beban kerja,
sokongan penyelia, sokongan rakan sekerja terhadap penglibatan kerja dalam kalangan
guru Sekolah Berasrama Penuh (SBP) di negeri Selangor. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan
reka bentuk bukan eksperimental telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Pemilihan sampel
kajian dilaksanakan secara pensampelan rawak mudah melibatkan 274 orang guru SBP di
negeri Selangor. Instrumen kajian melibatkan soal selidik yang diadaptasi dan diubahsuai
mengikut keperluan dan kesesuaian kajian. Data yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan
Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 23. Penyelidik menjalankan
analisis statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui tahap beban kerja, sokongan penyelia,
sokongan rakan sekerja dan penglibatan kerja. Analisis statistik inferens juga dilaksanakan
dan melibatkan analisis regresi pelbagai yang menerangkan kesan beban kerja, sokongan
penyelia dan sokongan rakan sekerja terhadap penglibatan kerja. Hasil kajian menunjukkan
bahawa tahap beban kerja adalah sederhana, manakala, sokongan penyelia, sokongan rakan
sekerja dan penglibatan kerja adalah tinggi. Dapatan kajian juga mendedahkan bahawa
terdapat kesan yang signifikan antara beban kerja (β = .149, p < .05), sokongan penyelia (β
= .184, p < .05) dan sokongan rakan sekerja (β = .461, p < .05) terhadap penglibatan kerja
guru di sekolah. Kesimpulannya, beban kerja, sokongan penyelia dan sokongan rakan
sekerja memberi kesan terhadap penglibatan kerja dalam kalangan guru SBP di negeri
Selangor. Implikasi daripada kajian ini, pihak pengurusan sekolah boleh memanfaatkan
pandangan guru mengenai aspek-aspek yang dikaji dan menjadikan maklumat tersebut
sebagai alat yang berguna untuk meningkatkan lagi penglibatan kerja dalam kalangan guru
di SBP, Selangor. |
