Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Tujuan utama kajian ini ialah untuk menguji pengaruh kepimpinan inovasi pengetua terhadap budaya inovasi dan inovasi organisasi Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan kawasan bandar di Sabah. Reka bentuk kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan kaedah tinjauan. Seramai 478 orang guru dari 33 buah sekolah menengah kategori bandar di Negeri Sabah terlibat dalam kajian ini. Perisian Permodelan Persamaan Berstruktur (SEM) digunakan untuk menganalisis data kajian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan Kepimpinan Inovasi Pengetua dapat diukur melalui lima dimensi iaitu Tingkah Laku Kreatif, Komunikasi Berkesan, Kemahiran Teknikal, Tingkah Laku Pembuka dan Tingkah Laku Penutup. Sebanyak 18 item baharu dibangunkan untuk mengukur Model Kepimpinan Inovasi Pengetua. Model yang dibangunkan juga memenuhi nilai Indeks Kesepadanan yang diperlukan dengan nilai RMSEA=0.079, CFI=0.967, TLI=0.960 dan Chisq/df=4.019. Sementara itu, Budaya Inovasi di sekolah diukur melalui empat dimensi iaitu Strategi, Struktur, Mekanisme Sokongan dan Tingkah Laku Inovatif. Inovasi Organisasi pula diukur melalui dua dimensi iaitu Produk dan Strategik. Kajian mendapati bahawa Kepimpinan Inovasi Pengetua dalam sekolah-sekolah kajian mempengaruhi Budaya Inovasi (β=0.56, p
