Buku teks matematik berperanan sebagai panduan yang penting dalam pembelajaran dan pemudahcaraan (PdPc) matematik. Kajian ini bertujuan bukan sahaja untuk mengenal pasti perbezaan persembahan isi kandungan serta perbezaan analisis latihan dan aktiviti topik Ruang antara buku teks Matematik Tahun 5 KSSR Semakan 2021 Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) dengan Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC). Analisis kandungan merangkumi penerangan konsep dan prosedur serta aplikasi aktiviti STEM, konstruk dan aras kesukaran latihan serta bilangan dan kekerapan latihan. Analisis anekdot dilakukan untuk memaparkan persembahan isi kandungan secara naratif, manakala analisis deskriptif dilakukan untuk menganalisis latihan dan aktiviti. Dapatan menunjukkan terdapat beberapa perbezaan dalam penyampaian konsep matematik dan aplikasi aktiviti STEM antara kedua-dua buah buku teks matematik, manakala kebanyakan latihan berada pada aras sederhana. Maka, kajian ini adalah signifikan dalam penambahbaikan kandungan buku teks dari segi penggunaan ilustrasi dan aras kesukaran latihan untuk membantu murid yang lemah dalam pembelajaran matematik.
