Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti sikap pelajar tingkatan empat terhadap fizik dan tahap penguasaan mereka dalam konsep daya dan gerakan. Kajian ini juga menentukan hubungan antara sikap pelajar terhadap fizik dengan tahap penguasaan dalam konsep daya dan gerakan. Reka bentuk kajian adalah penyelidikan perhubungan korelasi. Populasi kajian adalah seramai 96 pelajar tingkatan empat yang mengambil mata pelajaran fizik. 31 sampel yang berjaya dikumpulkan semula. Teknik persampelan adalah teknik persampelan rawak mudah. Soal selidik terdiri daripada dua instrumen iaitu Sikap Terhadap Pembelajaran Fizik (STPF) untuk menentukan sikap pelajar terhadap fizik dan instrumen Force Concept Inventory spm (FCIspm) untuk menentukan tahap penguasaan pelajar dalam konsep daya dan gerakan. Analisis data menggunakan kaedah statistik deskriptif dan ujian korelasi pearson. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan pelajar mempunyai sikap yang positif terhadap fizik (purata skor= 3.74) dan mempunyai tahap penguasaan yang rendah dalam konsep daya dan gerakan (purata peratus = 21.5%). Terdapat hubungan tidak signifikan antara sikap pelajar terhadap fizik dengan tahap penguasaan dalam konsep daya dan gerakan (r = -0.03, p = 0.875). Kesimpulannya, sikap pelajar tidak menyumbang secara signifikan terhadap tahap penguasaan dalam konsep daya dan gerakan. Implikasinya ialah kajian ini memberi petunjuk kepada pihak berkaitan seperti guru dan sekolah untuk mula mengambil langkah bagi meningkatkan tahap penguasaan pelajar dalam konsep fizik terutamanya bagi konsep daya dan gerakan.
