Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Objektif kajian ini ialah untuk meneliti Tahap Kreativiti, Faktor Pendorong Kreativiti Dan Gaya Kepimpinan Pengetua Sekolah-Sekolah Menengah Di Pedalaman Sabah Dan Kesannya Terhadap Prestasi Sekolah. Reka bentuk penyelidikan kuantitatif dipilih untuk menjawab lapan persoalan kajian dan sebelas hipotesis. Dua set instrument telah digunakan untuk mengukur Tahap Kreativiti, Faktor Pendorong Kreativiti Dan Gaya Kepimpinan Pengetua. Seramai 56 orang pengetua dipilih menjadi responden menggunakan teknik Sampel Bertujuan. Analisis deskriptif kajian menunjukkan variable tahap kreativiti, faktor kreativiti dan gaya kepimpinan pengetua-pengetua sekolah menengah di pedalaman Sabah adalah pada tahap tinggi. Ujian-t menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan bagi pemboleh ubah berdasarkan jantina. Korelasi Pearson r menunjukkan wujud hubungan yang kuat antara Tahap Kreativiti Pengetua, Faktor Kreativiti, dan Gaya Kepimpinan Pengetua dengan Skor Indeks Komposit Sekolah. Analisis Regresi Berganda menunjukkan kombinasi sumbangan pemboleh ubah Tahap Kreativiti Pengetua, Faktor Kreativiti Pengetua dan Gaya Kepimpinan Pengetua. menyumbang 35.2% perubahan terhadap Skor Indeks Komposit Sekolah. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa Tahap Kreativiti, Faktor Kreativiti dan Gaya Kepimpinan Pengetua menunjukkan hubungan dan pengaruh terhadap Skor Indeks Komposit Sekolah. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa Tahap Kreativiti Pengetua, Faktor Kreativiti Pengetua dan Gaya Kepimpinan Pengetua yang tinggi dijangka dapat meningkatkan Skor Indeks Komposit Sekolah-Sekolah Menengah Di Pedalaman Sabah. Kajian yang lebih komprehensif perlu dilaksanakan di sekolah menengah dalam kategori sekolah bandar untuk melihat kesan Tahap Kreativiti, Faktor Kreativiti dan Gaya Kepimpinan Pengetua terhadap Skor Indeks Komposit Sekolah.
