Bagi menjamin kualiti pendidikan negara, Pelan Pendidikan Pembangunan Malaysia (PPPM) 2013-2025 telah diperkenalkan oleh kerajaan untuk penambahbaikan sistem pendidikan termasuk pucuk kepimpinan dan kemenjadian guru di sekolah. Kajian kuantitatif ini bertujuan mengenal pasti hubungan antara kepimpinan distributif terhadap efikasi kendiri guru sekolah kebangsaan di Selangor. Seramai 500 guru mengambil bahagian dalam kajian ini. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripada latar belakang responden, instrumen kepimpinan distributif dan instrumen efikasi kendiri guru sekolah kebangsaan negeri Selangor. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap amalan kepimpinan distributif dan efikasi kendiri guru berada pada tahap tinggi. Melalui ujian korelasi Pearson, amalan kepimpinan distributif mempunyai hungan sederhana kuat dan signifikan terhadap efikasi kendiri guru di sekolah kebangsaan negeri Selangor. Oleh itu, amalan kepimpinan distributif memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkatkan efiaksi kendiri guru dan sangat sesuai merealisasikan perubahan di sekolah.
