Kajian ini bertujuan mengukur perbezaan dan hubungan di antara faktor-faktor demografi terpilih dan faktor-faktor penentu prestasi terpilih dengan persepsi keberkesanan sistem penilaian prestasi dalam kalangan anggota Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) di Ibupejabat Polis Daerah Kuching. Kajian ini berbentuk kuantitatif yang mempunyai populasi seramai 800 anggota polis. Seramai 260 anggota polis dipilih secara rawak sebagai responden dalam kajian ini. Data kajian telah dianalisis menggunakan IBM SPSS Versi 23.0. Hasil kajian mendapati tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan antara jantina dan tempoh perkhidmatan terhadap persepsi keberkesanan sistem penilaian prestasi. Manakala, keputusan ujian Korelasi Pearson telah menunjukkan bahawa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan di antara lima faktor penentu terpilih iaitu ganjaran (r=0.299), budaya organisasi (r=0.378), pengendalian (r=0.166), komunikasi (r=0.360) dan latihan (r=0.533) dengan persepsi keberkesanan sistem penilaian prestasi. Oleh itu, faktor yang paling dominan telah menyumbang kepada keberkesanan sistem penilaian prestasi adalah faktor latihan (β=0.422). Kajian ini diharap dapat meningkatkan prestasi organisasi dengan mengunakan sistem penilaian prestasi yang diamalkan berdasarkan kepada faktor-faktor penentu terpilih. Perbincangan juga dibuat berkenaan dengan aspek implikasi dan cadangan kajian. |
