Objektif utama kajian ini adalah membangunkan kit pengajaran Flipped Classroom Alkali Metals (FCAM) dan mengenal pasti persepsi guru terhadap kit pengajaran FCAM bagi konstruk isi kandungan dan kepuasan. Pendekatan Penyelidikan Reka Bentuk dan Pembangunan (PRP) ubah suai bersama model Diskrepansi, model ADDIE dan model penilaian formatif Tessmer telah dijadikan panduan kepada pengkaji membangunkan kit pengajaran FCAM. Instrumen kajian yang terlibat adalah soal selidik analisis keperluan kit pengajaran Flipped Classroom, borang penilaian kesahan kandungan kimia kit pengajaran FCAM, borang penilaian kesahan pedagogi kit pengajaran FCAM dan soal selidik persepsi guru terhadap kit pengajaran FCAM. Seramai 118 orang guru kimia di negeri Melaka telah terlibat sebagai responden kajian. Data kesahan kandungan kit pengajaran FCAM dianalisis secara peratus persetujuan pakar manakala nilai min persepsi guru terhadap kit pengajaran FCAM pula dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif menggu.....

This study aims to unravel readiness in implementing Student-Centred Learning (SCL) and thus determine insight to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) module. This study employed a case study research design which was conducted in three national type secondary schools in Hilir Perak district. The participants involved were six administrators, fourteen teachers and seven students and they were chosen using the purposive sampling technique. In-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted to acquire comprehensive information on the school’s awareness, readiness and perspective on the issues in SCL implementation. Inductive qualitative data analysis was used whereby the data were compared, contrast and interpreted. Findings suggested that there were three major themes had emerged which were; awareness about SCL, readiness to adopt SCL and issues and challenges in implementing SCL. This research is about the development of robust microfluidic flow sensor with a biologically-inspired cupula structure for flow rate measurement. The proposed flow sensor consists of a dome-shaped structure, microchannel and coplanar electrode. Mechanical analysis of the dome-shaped membrane is carried out by using finite element analysis in terms of deflection and Misses Stress. The simulations using Ansys software were carried out for both Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). A sensor with a 3.2 mm radius of dome and 0.5 mm in dome thickness had been selected from the simulation due to its flexibility. The mold of the flow sensor was designed by using Solidwork 2016 and fabricated using soft lithography process including casting and molding process in Polydimethysiloxane (PDMS) structure fabrication. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh ladang karas (Aquilaria malaccensis) terhadap komuniti fauna dan faktor fizikal. Kajian telah dijalankan di ladang karas Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) dari Mac 2016 hingga Ogos 2017 dan di Kg. Tambak, Slim River (SR) dari Julai 2017 hingga Januari 2018. Ladang karas UPSI dan SR masing-masing berusia dua dan empat tahun. Pertumbuhan pokok karas diukur berdasarkan ketinggian, ukur lilit, bilangan daun, bilangan dahan dan ketinggian dahan pertama dari paras tanah. Komuniti fauna pula adalah vertebrata (burung dan mamalia kecil) dan invertebrata (serangga, anelida dan moluska). Faktor fizikal yang dikaji termasuk suhu udara, kelajuan angin, keamatan cahaya dan kualiti tanah. Kajian dijalankan selama tiga hari pada setiap bulan. Classroom Assessment is slowly replacing standardized examinations in Malaysia primary schools. In year 2020, it is announced by the Ministry of Education that the examination for primary pupils is abolished, and pupils will be assessed through Classroom Assessment. Therefore, teachers’ assessment knowledge and competence has become a concern for many. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the level of assessment literacy of primary school English Language teachers and their views on assessment literacy and classroom assessment in primary schools. For this study, survey and interviews is used to gain insights regarding the research questions outlined. Data is collected through survey and interview sessions. The data gained from inventory survey is analyzed using descriptive analysis through IBM SPSS 23. Kajian ini dijalankan untuk menilai keberkesanan Modul Amali Sains Sukan (MASS) bagi pelajar Tingkatan Enam. Kaedah pra eksperimen kajian kes sekali melibatkan seramai 196 orang pelajar Sains Sukan yang terdiri daripada 100 lelaki dan 96 perempuan. Pemilihan sampel secara “intact sampling” melibatkan lima buah sekolah di Negeri Kedah. Kesahan kandungan bagi modul MASS diperoleh daripada enam orang pakar dengan nilai r = 0.94 manakala nilai kebolehpercayaan ialah r = 0.92. Analisis menunjukkan tahap pencapaian keseluruhan MASS ialah lelaki 91.8% dan perempuan 91.6%. Ujian-t sampel tidak bersandar digunakan bagi membandingkan skor min tahap pencapaian pelajar kumpulan kerja kursus dan MASS antara pelajar lelaki dan perempuan. The hegemony of advanced keroncong figures in keroncong singing has made the Solo keroncong singing style more recognised by the wider community with its lilting characteristics. However, for the Surakarta people (Solo), there is something more essential than that, namely ngroncongi, also known as undul usuk. This term is often given to keroncong singers as an assessment of the quality of their singing. Hence, this research aims at identifying and describing undul usuk and its achievement process by employing descriptive qualitative methods. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used to collect the data, while the triangulation technique was used to test the data’s validity. The findings show that the undul usuk concept is a sub-concept of the ngroncongi basic concept. There are various hierarchical stages in the achievement of Solo keroncong singing, which consist of the beginner stage, the average stage, the skilled stage, the specialist stage, and singing ngronco.....

This study aims to reveal the development and distribution of the slendro tuning and analyze the concept of balungan gending and the inner melody of gending in Jawatimuran karawitan. It became essential to do as an effort to build a scientific milestone in Jawatimuran karawitan. This study uses the participant method, which is an effort to involve the researcher in the study he is studying thoroughly. In-depth observations and active interviews were carried out so that the data obtained from the participant method could continue to be contextualized with reality. The researcher tries to place the resource person as a speaking subject, not a passive object. As a result, apart from Malang, almost all Jawatimuran karawitan cultures use slendro gamelan with a unique side and distinctive character. The concept of balungan gending and the inner melody result in the gendings in Jawatimuran karawitan having complex musicality dynamics, in contrast to other musical styles, Surakarta and Yogyaka.....

Its engagement has fueled disruptive discourse on its nature, methodology and application in music research. Textbooks and journal publications on practice in arts-based research and a host of eminent practitioner-scholars have contributed to this nascent field of study. Several of these publications focus on the creative arts industry with fewer discourse on practice-based research approaches in the subdomains of music.
