The Use of TikTok social media in influencing Generation Z online purchasing behaviour in Malaysia

TikTok is one of the world's fastest-growing social media platforms, with over 170 million downloads, making it the most downloaded app in the world in 2022. Almost half of TikTok's user base comprises young people aged 18 to 24. TikTok has been used by many sellers and companies to spread their advertising and marketing campaigns in order to sell their products due to its large number of users and exponential popularity. However, purchases made by the younger generation were made impulsively and simply by following social trends, resulting in unnecessary purchases. This behaviour is seen as widespread, particularly among the younger generation. The purpose of this research is to look into the factors that influence Gen Z's purchasing habits. Celebrity endorsement is one of the popular marketing communication strategies used by many brands to draw attention and attract consumers. Advertisers are willing to spend huge amounts of money to endorse these celebrities knowing that they are the personal and social favorites to influence consumers’ purchase intention as well as their lifestyles, especially in the beauty and fashion industry. Previous research regarding the effectiveness of celebrity endorsement has been done widely, but very little or no studies have been done on automotive brands specifically in Malaysia. The effect of social media influencer marketing disclosure on consumer’s perceived brand image and purchase intention among youth in Malaysia

Social media influencer (SMI) marketing has become widely used by both big and small brands in order to promote their products and services as well as improve their brand image among consumers. Issues arise when SMIs are sharing paid marketing materials as a part of a brand’s online marketing campaign, without having a clear indication between an honest opinion and paid content. Therefore, the present study aims to identify the credibility of social media influencers among youth and their effects on the youth’s perceived brand image and purchase intentions. In achieving this, a quantitative method is used in this present study by distributing the questionnaire to 111 youth in Malaysia who are active social media users and follow at least one SMI. Convenience sampling was used in the present study to obtain respondents' numbers. The inclusion criteria were based on the usage of the top four social media platforms in Malaysia. Online learning management for economics subjects a case study in upper secondary schools in Johor

This study aims to examine online learning management for Economics subject through three aspects, specifically, learning platform, interaction, and motivation among upper-secondary school students located in Johor throughout the COVID-19 pandemic until now. A total of 103 high school students took part in this study via survey questionnaires, using a stratified random sampling method. This study employs descriptive statistics, mean scores, and correlation analyses. The findings disclose that online learning management for economics subjects in all three aspects, learning platform, interaction, and motivation, are at a high level with overall mean scores of 3.98, 3.70, and 3.58, respectively. Despite other apps' popularity, the Google Meet platform continues to become the most preferred online learning platform. Oleh yang demikian, kajian ini mengkaji secara khusus tahap setiap dimensi komitmen organisasi guru di Sarawak. Stress Management Through Teaching and Learning Methods: Which Is a Better Method?

This study aims to identify which teaching and learning (TnL) method is more helpful to university students in stress management. The TnL methods compared are; the physical Face-to-Face (F2F) method which was practiced on campus during the period before COVID-19 hit the country; and the Online method, which was practiced at home during the COVID-19 period. This study uses a questionnaire set as the research instrument and the input is documented in the Likert scale 5-point form. The respondents are the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) students, who experienced both TnL methods considered in this study. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical method; and the paired sample t-test inferential analysis. The findings provide an indication, that the majority of the respondents admitted that they had experienced stress during both periods, but a higher mean (M=3.08) was observed during the COVID-19 period compared to before the COVID-19 period (M=2.70). It is on this basis that this study aims to analyze the link that exists between customer satisfaction and ISO 9001 Quality Management proxies by dedication to quality, employee participation, and fact-based management. The descriptive survey design was used for this study, and primary data were collected using a self-developed questionnaire from 630 randomly chosen respondents from a population of 17836 employees of 30 manufacturing companies in Lagos State, Nigeria. Challenges and opportunities in the implementation of a Results-Based Performance Management System

The challenges and opportunities in the implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System were determined in this study. A combined quantitative and qualitative design was applied in this study, using a survey questionnaire and an interview as an instrument. The teachers and the school heads were the respondents to this study. The weighted mean and a t-test were used to treat the quantitative data, while thematic analysis was used for the qualitative data. The findings revealed that the challenges encountered in the implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System in the Alfonso Lista District were that “no second review is done, infrequent feedback, no comprehensive team assessment, and cross-comparison are not required."
