The economic globalization and the implementation of the One Belt and One Road initiative directly reflected the urgent needs of Arabic language talents. As a result, many universities and colleges opened Arabic for economic and trade negotiations (AETN). This course aims to cultivate such interdisciplinary talents in the Arabic language. However, this research explored the relationship between students’ needs and teaching methods which affected the teaching quality of the AETN. The study adopted a quantitative method and the data collected were analyzed through correlation by using the SPSS software. The research finding revealed that there were significant positive correlations between students’ needs and teaching methods in the teaching of AETN (r = .596, p < .01). This study aimed to investigate the relationship between medication adherence and health-related quality of life among Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) patients. A correlational survey design was used in this study. The study was conducted through assisted questionnaire administration via face to face with 188 T2DM patients. The questionnaire used was the Medication Compliance Questionnaire (MCQ) and Diabetes Quality of Life revised version (DQoL-R). Descriptive analysis, Crosstabs analysis and Chi-Square test was used to run the data of this study. Result shows the average age of the participants were 64.60 years old and a significant relationship was found between medication adherences with the domain Worry in diabetes quality of life. In conclusion, this study may provide a significant finding on quality of life factors which also need to be appropriately intervene in order to improve medication adherence among type 2 diabetes patients in Malaysian health care. The objective of this study to investigate the views of parents toward the practice of pre-school ethos on routines activities in PERPADUAN (Unity) Pre-school settings. The study involved 30 parents from three PERPADUAN Pre-school settings. A qualitative methodology was applied. In-depth interviews were conducted with the parents. The primary findings of this case study emergent: the data and quotes from parents shown an important view of a pre-school ethos that claims to be multi-ethnic. There are the similarities and differences between pre-school ethos in line with the parental norms and values from parents’ perspectives. For example, daily practices in the PERPADUAN Pre-school were acceptable. The common routine activities in pre-school day consist of the arrival time, morning assembly, hand-kissing, the salaam, the Rukun Negara (Malaysia Principle) and Negaraku (Malaysia Anthem), outdoor activity, and table manners during meal time. Even though we have effectively completed a fifth of this new century, non-formal education through community-based learning and other traditional avenues of learning persist as powerful forces in the growth of the human lifespan, particularly for native peoples who have thousands of years of local knowledge. Focusing on Malaysia’s Orang Asli (native peoples), this study was conducted to map the field until a more detailed research project is undertaken for the next two years at the Royal Belum State Park in Perak State, Malaysia. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kesan penggunaan Strategi Membuat Inferens terhadap pencapaian, minat dan motivasi membaca murid dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Cina. Kajian ini mengguna reka bentuk eksperimen kuasi. Subjek kajian terdiri daripada 70 orang murid Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) tahun lima. Seramai 37 orang murid dalam kumpulan rawatan diajar menggunakan strategi membuat inferens dan 33 orang murid dalam kumpulan kawalan diajar menggunakan teknik konvensional. Data kuantitatif dikumpul melalui pra-ujian, pasca-ujian dan soal selidik. Data kualitatif dikumpul melalui temu bual untuk menyokong data-data kuantitatif. The issue of zakat on income has been discussed by scholars since those days of sahabah and tabi’in until today. Among the issues are hawl (lapse of a year), nisab (the capability line for zakat contribution) and al-hawa’ij al-asliyyah (basic needs). For the case of al-hawa’ij al-asliyyah, the practice of zakat institution in Malaysia is to directly convert the exempted amount of personal, spouse and children, which is similarly performed by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN). The practice has raised a question among scholars. They argue whether the exempted amounts are exactly representing the costs of al-hawa’ij al-asliyyah which are required by shariah. The aims of this study were to 1) compare and contrast students’ behavioural patterns of engagement during lessons activities with and without the utilisation of Student Response System (SRS) and 2) gauge students’ perspectives on the use of SRS in English language classrooms. The participants of this study were 35 students undertaking an English proficiency course at a local university. This study employed classroom observations, field notes and interviews to gather the data. They were qualitatively analysed and triangulated using thematic analysis. The findings indicated that the participants displayed more engaged patterns of behaviours in the classrooms that utilised SRS compared to their behaviours in the ones without SRS. Students also viewed the utilisation of SRS as engaging and preferred to have more lessons with SRS. Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengkaji jenis-jenis kerjaya yang diminati oleh pelajar, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan kerjaya, cara-cara untuk mengatasi masalah pemilihan kerjaya serta peranan pihak sekolah untuk membantu pemilihan kerjaya bagi pelajar Tingkatan Empat Aliran Sains bagi kawasan bandar dan luar bandar di Negeri Kelantan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua, kepimpinan guru dan efikasi kendiri guru sekolah menengah kebangsaan (SMK) di Selangor serta hubungan antara ketiga-tiga pemboleh ubah. Kajian ini turut bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pengaruh amalan kepimpinan distributif pengetua terhadap kepimpinan guru dan efikasi kendiri guru. Kajian kuantitatif ini menggunakan kaedah tinjauan. Instrumen kajian diadaptasi daripada instrumen Distributed Leadership Inventory (DLI), Teacher Leadership Self-Assessment (TLSA), dan Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES).
