While the influence of Emperor Akbar’s religious tolerance and patronage of the arts on the development of Mughal miniature painting is widely recognized, this research provides a detailed analysis of the artistic elements in Akbar’s Ramayana. Mughal patronage produced fine illustrated manuscripts, outstanding artistic achievements within a sophisticated cultural context. The translation of Hindu epic scriptures, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana, during Akbar’s reign gave rise to Mughal miniature painting an excellent, refined school which amalgamated Indian themes with the rich tradition of Persian miniature painting. This study aims to investigate the extent of acceptance and awareness of the social commentary art through printmaking among public. Social commentary is a function of art toward people, and artworks can carry messages and change public opinions and expose the reality of such a social, cultural or political issue. A Convergent Parallel Design mixed method is used as the study methodology to measure the public acceptance and understanding of social commentary and printmaking. This study aimed to identify the possibility of developing students' design thinking system by participating in student design competitions to increase their practical design experience when they initially learn design. Information obtained through quantitative methods that were used to analyze data of studies that had been collected. The study sample consisted of 44 students from the Shandong Vocational and Technical University (SWUT). Research instruments consisted of analysis the result of students work, questionnaires and university lecturer system. Questionnaires were distributed online to study samples through Wenjuanxing (WJX) form method. The results showed that 19 college students who have participated in design competition have a higher level of design thinking traits than those who have not. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenalpasti keperluan membangunkan e-modul perisian Canva dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Seni Visual (PSV) di sekolah rendah bagi guru-guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran PSV. Pendekatan Penyelidikan Rekabentuk dan Pembangunan yang menglibatkan fasa analisis keperluan sahaja akan dijalankan dengan seramai 88 orang guru PSV di sekolah rendah. Kajian ini berfokus kepada mengkaji kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan instrumen bagi menilai soal selidik yang digunakan dalam kajian. Instrumen soal selidik yang dibina adalah diadaptasi daripada kajian oleh Amani Dahaman, (2014). Setiap item diubahsuai mengikut kesesuaian kajian iaitu menilai keperluan pembangunan aplikasi DiD-Art untuk tajuk Seni Lukisan di sekolah menengah. Kesahan muka dan kesahan kandungan ditentukan melalui edaran soal selidik kepada pakar. Lima orang pakar terlibat memberi maklum balas terhadap item yang dibangunkan dari aspek pemilihan perkataan, bahasa dan ayat serta mengesahkan setiap domain bagi kandungan yang dibina. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana perubahan yang mampu dibawa dengan mengaplikasikan elemen warna dalam seni kaligrafi oleh para pengkarya dan seniman Islam.
