Emotional approach in dawah of the Prophet Noah to the people an analytical study

This research aimed to examine the concept of emotional approach in da`wah that involves the heart of people in influencing human feeling and conscience. It also analyses the  characteristics and methods of emotional approach in conducting da`wah according to the Holy Quran  as well as the function of the emotional approach in Noah’s da`wah to his people. This was a  qualitative research where the researcher uses analytical approach (al- manhaj al-tahlili) to study the emotional approach and its role in influencing the people. Inductive approach (al-manhaj al-istiqra`i)  is used to analyse its characteristics and methods in the da`wah.of the Prophet Noah. The data of this study were obtained from the classical and contemporary Islamic religious books as well as Quranic tafsir. Finding of this study shows that the emotional approach in da`wah has an effect on classes of people. The study also found that the emotional approach has major function in spreading Islamic da’wah. .....

Effects of the Wall-Faced seating arrangement strategy on the behavioural patterns of the students in the architecture thesis design studio

The results of the exercise on the Wall-Faced seating arrangement in an architecture thesis design studio reveal the positive effects on the progress, concentration, and design of the students. The seating arrangement encouraged the students for more design products and development through increase the sense of competition. The seating arrangement changed the concentration of the students from the central part of the studio as a location for social interaction toward the drawing board as the learning target of the studio with more concentration on the drawing boards. The seating arrangement changes the concentration from the people in the studio as subject to the drawing board and design development as the object. In the new seating from the level of the collaboration between the students enhanced and the students communicated consistency to enhance the level of the design project in the studio. Effect of industrial work experience in developing technical and vocational education undergraduates employability skills

This study aims to assess the effect of industrial work experience in developing employability skills among technical and vocational education undergraduates in Nigerian universities. Data were collected from 119 undergraduates of technical and vocational education (TVE) with a pre-and post-survey instrument. When compared with a paired sample t-test, the result showed that the employability skills possess by TVE undergraduates before and after exposure to industrial work experience significantly differ. When compared with the independent sample t-test, the result showed that the employability skills possess between male and female TVE undergraduates before exposure to industrial work experience does not significantly differ. When also compared with independent sample t-test, the result showed that the employability skills possess between male and female TVE undergraduates after exposure to industrial work experience significantly differ. Descriptive analysis study of prose poetry in Mahmoud Darwish poetry (Yawmiyyat Athar Al-Farashah)

This research addressed the prose poem in the poetry of Mahmoud Darwish, as this study aims to clarify the concept of the prose poem with understanding the point of view of critics and writers who support and oppose this modern literary genre. Then, it touches upon Mahmoud Darwish's position in this literary genre, which called the researcher to study on these opinions and the literary arbitration and its foundations, in addition working to distinguish them. " Athar al-Farashah " from the poet’s anthology has been used as a text in this study to clarify this issue, while the poet himself, did not classify it under any literary classification. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical method in analyzing and describing the prose poem and critics' opinions with focusing on Darwish's opinion. Transformative perspective of black resistance against white hegemony in Richard Wrights selected texts

This research focuses on Richard Wight, a contemporary African American writer who has produced novels, short stories, and non-fiction. There are three objectives of this study: 1) to identify how white hegemony over blacks is portrayed based on his texts, 2) to categorize the images of transformative resistance in resisting white hegemony, and, 3) to examine how Richard Wright uses allegory in his literature to present the black resistance against white hegemony. The study employs Bill Ashcroft’s theory of post-colonial to first illustrate the process of hegemony in general between the blacks. Then it progresses to analyze each text highlighting how the writer presents evidence to the ongoing hegemony in his texts. The final step further uses the theory to talk about the resistance and anti-hegemony literature of the writer. The findings show that the transformative resistance is an effective tool for showing to the world, the pains, objections and the resistance of the Black Africa.....

Development of authentic assessment instrument for improving extensive capacity of metacognitive perspective

The purpose of this study is to find out the authentic assessment instrument factors in the ability to read English extensively from a metacognitive perspective. The study was designed with an instrument of developmental research design. The developmental research design refers to the research development proposed by Mardapi. The modification model of the Mardapi instrument development was carried out through three stages, i.e., preliminary stages, development stage and evaluation stage. The results of this study through exploratory factor analysis showed that there were three factors derived from 24 statement items. The loading factor value for each item in each factor is ˃ 0.3 which means that the whole item is valid. Based on the Alpha Cronbach reliability test it was obtained a value of 0.954, the instrument was declared reliable. The aim of this study is to find out what makes students in elementary schools 2 Kaliaman Jepara draw works on environmental themes. The research approach leads to the development of art as research, which will be carried out in fourth grade elementary school 2 Kaliaman, Kembang District, Jepara Regency, with seventh children's drawings on environmental themes, namely the family environment, school, and community, as research subjects. This study employs a variety of data collection methods, including observation, interviews, documenting, and recording. The data for the analysis was gathered through observation and document study. The purpose of the present study, therefore, is to investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of CEFR reference of language in other countries generally as well as in the Malaysian secondary schools specifically. The evaluation of Malaysian teachers’ perceptions toward the implementation of CEFR is substantially important to carry out the significant problems of implementing the framework. A systematic literature review was done to several research studies in Asian and especially Malaysia to achieve the fundamental research objectives.
