Kajian ini dijalankan untuk meninjau impak kepekakan terhadap perkembangan murid bermasalah pendengaran serta meninjau aspek-aspek yang menjadi keperluan dalam sistem sokongan dalam kalangan murid ini. Selain itu, bentuk-bentuk bantuan dan sokongan yang diperoleh oleh murid-murid ini turut dibincangkan. Data kajian dikumpulkan melalui temu bual mendalam. Kaedah temu bual mendalam telah dijalankan ke atas enam orang peserta kajian yang terdiri daripada ibu bapa, dua orang guru bermasalah pendengaran dan dua orang audiologis yang terlibat dalam bidang bermasalah pendengaran berdasarkan kesanggupan mereka untuk ditemu bual dalam berkongsi pengalaman dan maklumat. Hasil temu bual telah dibuat transkrip secara verbatim. Kesimpulan dibuat berdasarkan analisis tema. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan keperluan seperti sokongan pendidikan, sumber maklumat, sumber kewangan, serta akses kepada khidmat sokongan adalah menjadi keperluan terpenting dalam kalangan murid bermasalah pendengaran. The issue of sexuality education is not a new thing in today’s education. However, the implementation of sexuality education or talking about sexuality is a controversial issue and considered sensitive by some. This is because the term ‘sex’ carries different connotations to some people, and this is still considered a stigma by our society. Malaysia society is generally negatively prejudiced on the issue of the implementation of sexuality education for students with learning difficulties. The purpose of this study was to identify teachers' perceptions of the challenges of sexuality education delivery. The development in today’s education has made the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) a necessity, especially in generating skillful and trained workers who may enhance the country’s international industrial competitiveness. Numerous institutions have gained recognition from the Department of Skills Development as recognized centers to provide skills trainings that offer Malaysian Skill Certificate for courses as listed by National Occupational Skills Standard.
