In order to help clients to have greater psychological development, group counselling is one of the methods to be utilized by counsellors. The competency of counsellors especially counsellor trainees in conducting group counselling is critical to ensure the quality and effectiveness of counselling sessions. However, there is a gap between the current training practices and student outcomes as counsellor trainees found to have a good knowledge on group counselling, but lack of skills to put theory into practice, especially to apply group counselling skills in their counselling session. This paper attempts to discuss a futuristic strategy in developing trainee teachers’ personality in one university course in an education university in Malaysia. Considering this situation, the Indonesia University of Education and the University of Education Sultan Idris in Malaysia undertook an initiative to jointly identify the local value that has contributed to the perceived and expected peace based on al-Quran in school communities. 4 | 2023 Article | Effect of tacit knowledge on student self-determination in Indonesia: a mixed-methods study Aslina Ahmad This study was initiated in response to the condition of students' low self-determination, which results in an inability to complete tasks well, a low achievement index, and even congestion and dropout. The research employed a mixed methodology with a concurrent embedded design and a selection without random assignment. The participants of this study were 406 undergraduate students in Indonesia, with 38 experimental and control participants, respectively. The self-determination instrument refers to the theory of Ryan and Deci, which was analyzed using the Rasch Model, and the effectiveness test used the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed the impact of the identified regulation level that the focus of learning in higher education was successful in developing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects but still needs to reach the development of students' self-determination dimension. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) rigorously evaluates the efficacy of CBT in reducing stress among university students, utilizing the PRISMA 2020 framework. The review analyzes 27 carefully selected articles, focusing on objective analysis, diverse delivery methods, session and treatment duration, various CBT interventions, and the applied skills and strategies. The findings confirm CBT as an exceptionally effective stress management tool, noted for its adaptability and versatility.
