School-based professional learning communities (PLCs) have been one of the strategies of professional development in schools that have proven to impact teachers’ quality and student performance. Most of the PLC models are widely researched in western countries, whereas PLCs in Asian countries are limited. The characteristics of these PLC models are different based on the institutional and cultural context. Development of professional learning communities model using fuzzy delphi approach

This article aimed to design and develop Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) model and a questionnaire survey instrument for Malaysian schools using Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) in the Design and Development Research (DDR). In Phase 1, literature on PLCs was reviewed to identify the needs of the professional learning communities? model according to the local context. In Phase 2, an agreement of 14 experts on the questionnaire was obtained from FDM. In Phase 3, the evaluation of the questionnaire by 5 experts to assess the questionnaire?s usability was gathered. Based on the final results, a total of 121 items was accepted. The agreement of the experts was between (90% to 100%) and the value of the threshold, d was between (0.09 ? 0.18). Pembangunan model komuniti pembelajaran profesional untuk sekolah rendah berprestasi tinggi di Malaysia

Komuniti Pembelajaran Profesional (KPP) dilaksanakan secara meluas sebagai salah satu kaedah pembangunan profesionalisme guru sekolah seluruh Malaysia, namun sehingga kini belum ada sebuah model lengkap KPP khusus untuk sekolah rendah di Malaysia. Oleh itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangunkan model KPP untuk sekolah rendah berdasarkan standard sekolah rendah berprestasi tinggi di Malaysia. Pendekatan penyelidikan reka bentuk dan pembangunan atau DDR digunakan dalam kajian ini yang terbahagi kepada empat fasa. Fasa pertama merupakan analisis keperluan menggunakan kaedah sorotan literatur secara sistematik dan analisis modelmodel KPP tempatan dan antarabangsa. Fasa kedua merangkumi fasa pembangunan model yang menggunakan kaedah Fuzzy Delphi tiga pusingan. Pusingan pertama melibatkan temu bual bersama 14 orang pakar yang menghasilkan soal selidik KPP. Seterusnya pusingan kedua memerlukan panel pakar memberikan maklum balas dan menambah baik soal selidik tersebut. Pusingan .....
