The mediating effect of customer inspiration between market orientation, satisfaction and loyalty among Proton users
Mustafa Rehman Khan
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of customer inspiration between customer-defined market orientation, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty among  PROTON users. The study was quantitative in nature. A Total of 357 responses was collected through  random sampling from respondents who were users of PROTON automobile in Malaysia. Resource Based  Theory (RBT) was used to explain the effect of customer-defined market orientation on customer  satisfaction and customer loyalty, with mediator customer inspiration. Partial Least Square (PLS)  technique was used to test the proposed  research  model.  Results  revealed  that  customer   satisfaction  (R² =  0.412)  and customer  loyalty  (R² =  0.578)  are  directly  influenced  by   customer-defined  market orientation  and  customer  inspiration.  The  study  reported   significant  factors  customer orientation (β = 0.1955, t = 2.7731), competitor orientatio.....

The mediating role of real-time information between location-based user-generated content and tourist gift purchase intention
Mustafa Rehman Khan
The global use of Web 2.0 applications has generated enormous volumes of user content. Drawing on cognitive load theory, this study examines unexplored factors that influence gift purchase intention of tourists. The authors identify localization and real-time information for shaping tourists' gift purchase intention, which is facilitated by reduced cognitive overload. Analyzes of the study relies on a sample of 273 foreign tourists in Malaysia. A cross-sectional quantitative study is conducted using partial least square structural equation modeling. Results showed that location-based user-generated content and real-time information significantly affect gift purchase intention of tourists. Moreover, real-time information partially mediates the relationship between location-based user-generated content and gift purchase intention. ? 2021 Akdeniz University Publishing House. The effect of sustainable supply chain management and sustainability governance on sustainable performance
Khan, Mustafa Rehman
This study aimed to assess the key determinants of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) (i.e., sustainable supplier management (SSM), sustainable operation management (SOM), and sustainable customer management (SCM) and examined their impact on sustainable performance (SP) (i.e., economic performance (ECP), social performance (SCP), and environmental performance (ENP)). Furthermore, this study investigated the mediating effect of sustainability governance (SSG) between SSCM and SP. A purposive sampling was used in this cross-sectional study through an online survey among managers of ISO 14001-certified Malaysian manufacturing organizations using an online questionnaire. Following a pilot test, an online survey was used to obtain 348 survey responses. After the data screening, only 328 responses were retained for analysis. The obtained data were analysed by employing PLS-SEM approach using SmartPLS 3.3.2 software. Results revealed that ECP (R2=0.540), SCP (R2=0.597), an.....

Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Sustainability Reporting, ISO 26000 and Corporate Green Performance A Conceptual Paper
Mustafa Rehman Khan
This study aims to conceptualise the linkage between corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate sustainability reporting, ISO 26000, and corporate green performance in the manufacturing sector of Malaysia. This study significantly contributes by providing an understanding that implementation of societal and environmental-friendly practises enhances corporate reputation, reduces costs by minimising waste, reduces environmental and social risks, and improves corporate productivity and managerial credibility. The main data sources for this study are research articles published from 2000 to 2020 in different databases. The findings revealed that CSR, corporate sustainability reporting, and ISO 26000 positively linked with corporate green performance. The results confirm that CSR, corporate sustainability reporting, and ISO 26000 not only improve business performance but also ensure that organisational operations do not degrade the environment. Moreover, this study helps managers and .....

Industrial digitization, the use of real-time information, and operational agility: Digital and information perspectives for supply chain resilience
Khan, Mustafa Rehman
Change is the permanent reality of the digital business world. Firms manage it by their ability and capability to cope with short-term and long-term deviations and disruptions. This article presents an examination of the supply chain resilience (SCR) of firms operating in the Malaysian Service Sector. The data for this article were collected from 157 managers of 59 firms operating in 7 subservice sectors. Following organizational information processing theory and reviewing the relevant literature for the conceptualization, we tested a framework that suggests that the use of real-time information (URTI) enhances SCR. We also found that the industrial digital environment has an important link with the URTI. The results indicate that the URTI is significantly associated with SCR and operational agility, which partially mediates the relationship between the URTI and SCR. We further discuss the theoretical, practical, and policy implications arising from this research. © 1988-2012 IEEE...
