1 | 2020 article | A narrative review of the literature on students at risk of dropping out Nurulaini Moshidi The issue of dropping out is an important issue either nationally or internationally (Chung & Lee, 2018; Ripamonti, 2017; Siti Eshah et al, 2016; De Witte et al., 2013; McIntyre, 2013; Murad, 1973). Educational Planning and Research Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia (2016) reports that 4.3% of high school students are at risk to dropping out of the school system. National Center for Education Statistics (2016) states that the percentage of dropping out in US has declined from 7.4% (2010) to 5.9% (2015) but efforts to reduce the rate are still ongoing (Freeman & Simonsen, 2015). The Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) states one to two percent of Korean students stop learning (dropout) due to the difficulty in adjusting to school life (Chung & Lee, 2018). While dropping out have become a critical issue in basic education in Indonesia, around 2.6 million students aged 7 to 15 have dropped out of the education system (Pujiastuti et al., 2017).

2 | 2020 article | A validity of accountability among guidance and counseling teachers for students at risk of dropping out intervention program instruments Nurulaini Moshidi Students at risk of dropping out intervention program are a proactive step taken by Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) (2018) in addressing the problem. Guidance and counseling teachers has been given responsibility as a planner and executor in this program. This study using quantitative approach which is a survey of 100 respondents among the guidance and counseling teachers who teach in secondary school only. The purpose of this study is to validate the instrument of Accountability among Guidance and Counseling Teachers for Students at Risk of Dropping out Intervention Program based on four components which are Define; Manage; Deliver and; Assess using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The EFA results found that all factor loadings were greater than 0.55 meaning that all items were received and no items were dropped. Based on the analysis performed, it can be concluded that the instrument used has a good degree of validity in determining the accountability among guidance and counse..... 893 hits |

4 | 2021 thesis | Pembinaan instrumen dan amalan akauntabiliti guru bimbingan dan kaunseling terhadap pelaksanaan program intervensi murid berisiko cicir Nurulaini Moshidi Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membina, mengesah, menguji kebolehpercayaan serta
mengukur amalan akauntabiliti Guru Bimbingan dan Kaunseling (GBK) terhadap
pelaksanaan Program Intervensi Murid Berisiko Cicir (PIMBC). Kajian ini turut
memberi fokus terhadap komponen pentakrifan, pengurusan, penyampaian dan
pentaksiran berdasarkan jantina, tempoh perkhidmatan dan lokasi sekolah. Selain itu,
halangan amalan akauntabiliti dan faktor keberkesanan dalam pelaksanaan program
ini turut dikenal pasti. Kaedah tinjauan digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kajian ini. Bagi
proses pembinaan instrumen, tujuh pakar terlibat dalam mengesah kandungan
instrumen. Manakala kesahan konstruk dan kebolehpercayaan instrumen pula
melibatkan 100 responden. Seterusnya, kaedah tinjauan menggunakan persampelan
rawak mudah dilaksanakan terhadap 395 GBK yang mengajar di sekolah menengah
kebangsaan bertujuan mengukur amalan akauntabiliti terhadap pelaksanaan PIMBC.
