This study aims to obtain expert approval and consensus on Life Balance construct instrument among female engineers who have family. The purpose of this instrument is to identify the factors that assist women engineers to have a well-balanced life. The technique used in developing this Life Balance instrument is the Modified Delphi technique. This technique was used to obtain consensus among experts in developing the Life Balance items. The instrument development was performed by seven experts who have expertise, experience, and knowledge in career and engineering fields. The initial results (interviews with experts) identified four key factors in achieving Life Balance which were childcare, flexible career, leave, and social support. An example of how to obtain an interquartile range (IQR) value using the Modified Delphi technique that was carried out for a second time until the consensus was achieved was provided. Women are likely to leave the job sector as a result of the crisis between their commitments to the career with the household  interest.  In  response  to  this  issue,  this  study  aims  to  build  a  career  challenge  model  that  caters  to  the demand  among  women  in  this  century.  Hence,  this  study  has  identified  the  key  factors  to  the  challenges  faced  by female  engineers  in  pursuing  theircareer  as  an  engineer  through the  Delphi  Modified  Technique.  The  result  shows this study looking into the relationship between four independent constructs namely, life balance, childcare, leaves and gender discrimination. Meanwhile, the dependent construct of this study is career challenges faced by women. The scope of the study comprises female engineers with families  and 211 respondents  were selected to answer the questionnaire. Kajian ini adalah untuk membentuk model pengukuran pengekalan kerjaya bagi jurutera awam  wanita   yang  telah  berkeluarga.  Kajian  ini  menggunakan  Model  Kerjaya Kaleidoskop, Teori Dua Faktor  Herzberg, dan Model Pengekalan Pekerja sebagai panduan. Reka bentuk kajian adalah menggunakan  pembangunan model pengukuran. Teknik awal yang digunakan dalam pembangunan instrumen kajian ini  adalah teknik Delphi yang telah diubahsuai.  Seramai tujuh orang pakar telah dilantik berdasarkan  kepakaran dan pengalaman dalam bidang yang dikaji. Pakar-pakar tersebut juga telah mengesahkan  lapan sub konstruk bagi dua konstruk utama iaitu keseimbangan hidup dan kepuasan kerjaya dalam  pengekalan kerjaya bagi jurutera awam wanita. Persampelan rawak berstrata telah digunakan dalam  kajian ini.  Instrumen baharu telah dibangunkan dengan lapan sub konstruk dan 68 item serta  diedarkan kepada responden dalam kalangan jurutara awam wanita yang telah berkeluarga untuk melihatÂ.....
