The effectiveness of a STEM-based physics interactive laboratory (I-LAB) module for form four physics students

The STEM-Based Physics Interactive Laboratory (I-LAB) Module is a module which combines Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) elements with Physics Theory and Practical Physics for Form Four physics students. This module also has elements of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Feedback to enhance the active teaching and learning process. The study examines the effectiveness of the Form Four STEM-Based Physics Interactive Laboratory (I-LAB) Module to enhance Form Four physics students' achievements in Physics subject. A quantitative study was carried out using an experimental method. The instruments used were pretest and posttest for Form Four physics students' achievements in Physics subject. The effectiveness of the Form Four STEM-Based Physics Interactive Laboratory (i-Lab) by employing Isman Instructional Design Model

The study examines the effectiveness of the Form Four STEM-Based Physics Interactive Laboratory (i-Lab) to enhance form four students’ achievements in Physics. It describes the design process by employing the Isman Instructional Design Model. A quantitative study was carried out using an experimental method. The instruments used were pretest and posttest for form four students’ achievements in Physics. The sample of this study consists of three groups: a Traditional Physics Laboratory (T-Lab); Form Four STEM-Based Physics Interactive Laboratory with explanation feedback (i-LabP); and Form Four STEM-Based Physics Interactive Laboratory with knowledge of results (i-LabK). In this study, T-Lab is control groups while i-LabP and i-LabK are treatment group. Each group had 20 participants. Statistical analysis in the form of One Way Anova was used to compare the achievements of students in each group (T-Lab, i-LabP & i-LabK). Pembangunan Modul Makmal Interaktif (i-Lab) Fizik Tingkatan Empat Berteraskan STEM dan keberkesanannya terhadap pencapaian dan kemahiran berfikir kreatif pelajar

Kajian ini bertujuan membangunkan sebuah modul amali Fizik berteraskan STEM, iaitu Modul Makmal Interaktif Fizik Tingkatan Empat Berteraskan STEM (Modul i- Lab) serta menguji keberkesanannya terhadap pencapaian teori dan amali Fizik serta kemahiran berfikir kreatif pelajar tingkatan empat daerah Mualim, Perak. Kajian ini menggunakan reka bentuk pembangunan berasaskan Model Reka Bentuk dan Pengajaran Isman termasuk reka bentuk eksperimental sebenar. Modul i-Lab Fizik ini menerapkan gabungan dua teori pembelajaran utama iaitu Teori Konstruktivisme dan Teori Konsruktionisme. Populasi kajian ini adalah seramai 122 orang pelajar Fizik tingkatan empat dalam daerah Mualim, Perak. Seramai 74 orang pelajar telah dipilih secara rawak berstrata dan rawak mudah sebagai responden kajian ini, iaitu seramai 37 orang sebagai kumpulan rawatan dan 37 orang sebagai kumpulan kawalan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian adalah Ujian Pencapaian Teori Fizik, Ujian Pencapaian Amali Fizik, Penila.....
