Kajian ini menepati dan menyokong dasar Kementerian PelajaranMalaysia (KPM) dan Jabatan kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara (JKKN) yang telah mewujudkan Program Bimbingan Seni Budaya (PBSB) yang bertujuan untuk memberikan bimbingan, asuhan, latihan, pemupukan dan pengukuhan tanpa mengira kaum, etnik dan jantina. Kajian ini dijalankan melalui suatu bengkel teater advokasi yang mana prosesnya melibatkan aktiviti latihan teater bersandarkan modul teater (PBSB) bersama murid sekolah rendah yang terpilih di Tawau, Sabah yang dipimpin oleh jurulatih terlatih JKKN. 2 | 2022 thesis | The development pathway of Malaysia youth basketball players Lee, Zhi Hang The study was aimed to understand the development pathways of Malaysia youth
basketball players and examine the existence of relative age effect (RAE) in MSSM
basketball tournament. Participants selected from the groups of top 3 successful performed
(n=72) and bottom 3 unsuccessful performed (n=72) U18 boy and girl teams from the
MSSM basketball tournaments and data collected through modified Participation History
Questionnaire (PHQ). The milestones achieved, and types of activities engaged by all
athletes were collected. ONE-WAY ANOVA used to analyze the milestone achieved,
compared them within the successful and unsuccessful performed group. Factorial
ANOVA were used to analyze type of activities involved according to their age and
compared within the successful and unsuccessful performed group. Non-parametric
Kruskal-Wallis test used to analyze their involvement in other sports. No significant

3 | 2023 article | Weaving Culture and Science A reflection on teaching science through story-telling Loh, Su Ling Implementing culturally responsive education is possible by incorporating story-telling into science teaching and learning. It can be viewed as one way to present new scientific concepts or information that may be complex or difficult to comprehend. This study uses a local Malay folklore story, 'Hang Tuah dan Keris Tamingsari', alongside a hands-on activity during an after-school holiday program for primary students in a local library. A total of 25 participants were involved and their written reflection was collected. The collected data and images were coded and analysed along with the participatory observation. The results indicate that while participants expressed fascination with the story and the handicraft activity, they struggled to recall the science concept. Many mentioned learning about Hang Tuah and its noble values, emphasizing their engagement with the story and the craft rather than the intended science learning.
