Factors driving the intention to adopt a tobacco-free policy among employees in a public higher education institution

Due to their role as a centre of knowledge and character development,public higher education institutions serve as the best platform for emphasising health communication messages and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Higher educational institutions’ employees should have good physical and mental health to enable them to demonstrate good values to the students. Thus, the social cognitive theory (SCT) was specifically selected to take a close look at how a conducive environment and knowledge influence employees’ intention towards the tobacco-free policy. This study used the partial least squares (PLS) and structural equation modelling (SEM) software to examine factors influencing the adoption of tobacco-free policy among employees in a Malaysian higher education institution. It also measured the impact of workplace health promotion on employees’ intention to comply with tobacco cessation regulations. Cybersecurity is a multidisciplinary field of study that focuses on preserving and protecting data and information from a wide range of threats and dangers. This study presents a cyber securi ty culture for assessing the knowledge, attitude and practice towards digital marketing communications among small and medium sized entrepreneurs. The objectives of this study were to identify the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of cyber security cultu re toward digital marketing communications among small and medium sized entrepreneurs in Selangor, as well as to look into the relationship between knowledge and practice in this area. This study utilized a quantitative methodology in the form of a survey, with respondents being selected at random from a list of numbers and from a box of random numbers. Political communication and election campaigning on instagram during the 14th malaysian general election

Researching Instagram as a tool in political communication is a relatively new phenomenon since the platform only began to operate in 2010. However due to its increasing popularity, it is definitely time for more studies to be conducted. World leaders are becoming very prominent on Instagram. They are sharing both personal and political contents and are challenging the usually formal and beurecratic nature of political communication. Therefore this study attempts to explore how Instagram affects political communication by focusing on how several Malaysian politicians used Instagram as part of their communication and campaign during the 14th general election that was held on May 8th, 2018. Coding analysis was done on the Instagram posts of 8 prominent Malaysian politicians. The role of communications in the resilience of risk group in Kuching, Sarawak, during the dispersal of covid-19 virus

The Covid-19 Pandemic has significantly interfered with all aspects of human life. Notably, this dangerous epidemic has a more significant impact on the risk group. It has caused them to feel stress, fear, and suffering from the ripple effect of Covid-19. Hence, this disruption occurred instantaneously, requiring people to demonstrate noteworthy adaptability and resiliency through communication. Therefore, this study examined the two dimensions of communication, namely self-centred communication (knowledge and optimistic thinking) and external communication (family support and media exposure), in predicting the resilience among the risk group in Kuching, Sarawak. The data collection was during the movement control order, so the distribution of the online questionnaire used voluntary response sampling to the target respondents through WhatsApp and social media accounts.
