The effect of knowledge management enabler towards employee entrepreneurial orientation: case study from Shin-Etsu Malaysia

Turbulence in today’s business operations is unavoidable. This has put intense pressure to the organization resulting in continuous search of measures that would enable organizations to overcome such situations to be more competitive, hence improving the performance. This research study is about entrepreneurial orientation among Shin-Etsu Employees. Three hypotheses were formulated based on the theoretical framework and supported by Research based view (RBV) theory. The quantitative research was conducted by using validated research questionnaire. The population comprised of employees working in Shin-Etsu Malaysia. The total number of respondents was 477 out of 632 randomly selected. An overall response rate of 75.47 per cent was obtained. Multiple regression analysis was utilized to analyse the data to ensure that all the necessary assumption is met (high, medium and low level of Shin-Etsu Malaysia employees). Operasi dalam bidang perindustrian pada masa kini tidak terkecuali daripada dilanda permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan bidang tersebut. Keadaan ini telah memberi tekanan kepada organisasi untuk terus proaktif mencari penyelesaian berterusan bagi menangani permasalahan yang timbul agar organisasi dapat kekal berdaya saing selain meningkatkan prestasi. Sehubungan dengan itu, kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengkaji hubungan pengurusan pengetahuan terhadap orientasi keusahawanan dalam kalangan pekerja firma Jepun. What keep you loyal to your telecommunication services provider?

Fierce rivalry among the major players in the Malaysian telecommunications industry was evident despite tremendous growth in recent years. This competitive environment was driven by fluctuating consumer brand loyalty which has become a major concern. Hence, this study examined the factors that influence brand loyalty in the telecommunications industry which includes corporate image, confidence, service efficiency, and switching costs, as well as the importance of these factors. The study employed a quantitative research method and a structured questionnaire was used to collect the data. 249 usable responses were obtained and the data were analyzed using SPSS. The results indicated that corporate image and trust were significant while service quality was marginally supported. In contradiction, switching cost was insignificant in predicting customer loyalty. Trust was found to be a strong predictor of brand loyalty. Although it is widely acknowledged that incubation models have changed over the years, yet not many aware of the value propositions that have been evolved over the past decades. Therefore, this study starts with the genesis of business incubation which was retraced in the 1950s. The advertising industry has been moving toward digital advertising with the help of internet penetration across the world. Importantly, consumers today are exposed to digital advertising with social media advertising becoming one of the most vital channels to get in touch with the consumers. However, consumer trust in social media is reported to be low although trust is not a static concept but changes over time. Hence, this research aimed to study the relationship between social media advertising and consumer perceived trustworthiness among social media users in Malaysia. Consumers’ perceived trustworthiness is examined through five dimensions of social media advertising namely personalization, electronic word-of-mouth, interactivity, informativeness, and trendiness. Employees’ innovativeness in manufacturing industry: a case study from a Japanese firm

This study aims to examine the relationship between technical knowledge, workspace culture, and employees’ innovativeness at a Japanese manufacturing firm. The theoretical model based on the social cognitive theory approach to employee innovativeness was developed. To answer the research questions, two hypotheses were formulated with moderating effect of workspace culture. Online survey questionnaires were distributed to these Japanese manufacturing employees. A total of 477 employees of all levels were involved in this study, making an overall 22.71 percent response rate. This study utilized the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to establish the validity and reliability of the measurement model and structural model to test the relationships. Abstrak: Pandemik COVID-19 memberi banyak kesan kepada prestasi guru, terutamanya semasa mereka mula mengajar dari rumah. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan orientasi keusahawanan ke arah prestasi kerja guru dalam kalangan guru sekolah Tamil. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik persampelan bertujuan telah digunakan untuk mengumpul data daripada 214 orang responden dari sekolah Tamil di Malaysia. Soal selidik dalam talian digunakan sebagai instrumen penyelidikan. Data dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM dengan menggunakan perisian SmartPLS 4.0. Nowadays advertising has become a lifeline for business and endorsement of a females in advertising has become an unavoidable fact. Over a few decades, a wide range of researches have been carried out on female role portrayal in advertisements however, the role of demographic factors to moderate the relationship between consumer attitudes and responses towards female endorsement in print advertisement is yet to examine. Therefore, the objective of this study was to examine the role of demographic factors as a moderator to influence the response towards female endorsement in print advertisements. A survey was administered on 296 respondents from urban cities of Pakistan through questionnaires. Introduction-COVID-19 has come to us as a danger without a cure. Ayurvedic Medicine is seen to have the potential to be an alternative solution in curing COVID-19. Hence, the research aims to empirically investigate the adoption of Ayurvedic Medicine as an alternative cure for COVID-19 among the users and non-users. Methods-The research employed a quantitative research approach using a survey involving adults aged more than 18 years old. A convenient sampling method was chosen for this research. The collected data was analyzed by employing PLS-SEM and PLS-SEM MGA. Results - The results indicated that there is no significant difference between users and non-users of Ayurvedic medicine. Dangerous situations can develop at any time in a workshop if the people who use the workshop are not alert. It can be very dangerous even though a simple mistake occurs when the safety procedures are compromised. This research aims to obtain the perception and comments from students regarding their knowledge about workshop safety in schools. The objective of this research is to acquire the perception and comments from Faculty of Technical and Vocational, Sultan Idris Education University students. There are 5 different questions distributed among the students for them to give their judgements. This study is an interview based approach. The data was collected by distributing the questions to 148 students and 35 student?s answers were randomly picked to be analysed.
