1 | 2014 article | Hubungan antara adab-adab pembelajaran tahfiz dan pencapaian hafazan pelajar Hashim Azmil, Jemali Misnan, Tamuri Ab. Halim, Che Noh Mohd Aderi, The aim of this study was to identify the etiquette used by students in memorizing al-Quran (hifz) and differences in backgrounds of students with the practice of the etiquette of memorizing al-Quran. This study also aimed at identifying the relationship between etiquette of memorization al-Quran and hifz achievement. This study involved 212 tahfiz students in the Diploma Tahfiz Darul Quran program in Malaysia. Questionnaires were developed by the researchers and the contents were validated by an expert reference panel. The results of the study showed that Cronbach alpha reliability value for all parts of the questionnaire were high (> .9). Data were analyzed descriptively using mean, standard deviation and percentage. The differences and relationship of inferential data were analyzed using t-test and Pearson correlation. Aderi Che Noh The implementation of tahfiz programme in polytechnics is aimed towards producing highly marketable graduates and skilled human capital in technical and vocational education (TVE). This programme is developed to integrate worldly and ukhrawi knowledge to produce professional huffaz who are skilled and competent, conforming to the needs of the ummah and the nation. In line with the current global development and demand, the curriculum for polytechnic’s tahfiz programme is developed in collaboration with Darul Quran (DQ) to produce dynamic and deductive semi-professional workforce. The combination of the core courses, elective courses and the institution’s compulsory courses becomes the essential components for the curriculum. Elements like the programme synopsis, programme overview, delivery methods, assessment methods and referencing, complement the main aspects of the programme proforma. 3 | 2019 article | Strategic management of quranic recitation teaching among primary school teachers in Malaysia Mohd Aderi Che Noh This study is related to the perception of Islamic Education teachers on their teaching practices in the Qur'an recitation skills due to the national primary schools under the administration of Education Ministry Malaysia. A total of 120 Islamic Education teachers involved as respondents in this study. They randomly selected from ten districts in Selangor Malaysia. Data collected through a set of questionnaires consisting of 32 items. Descriptive statistics consisted of frequency, percentage and meant were used to report the findings. Findings showed that the average means of all four components in teaching practices were high. The element of lesson induction showed mean=4.03, the aspect of lesson expansion showed mean=4.18, the aspect of lesson closure showed mean=4.03, and the component of teaching aids showed mean=3.77. In conclusion, teachers should ensure continuous improvement in their teaching practices, especially in Quran recitation skills

4 | 2019 article | Amalan pengajaran guru di Pondok Bantan, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand Mohd Aderi Che Noh Historically, Pondok Bantan is a traditional Islamic educational institution that applies teacher-centered approach in teaching and learning programmes based on religious texts. However, in line with the changes in needs and time of society, the Pondok is now adopting Thai national curriculum which at the same time integrate with religious education curriculum based on the traditional (turath) texts of Malay scholars. The diversity in its educational curriculum components perceived as a strength for Pondok Bantan but becomes a challenge to the teachers’ ability to implement and ensure the teaching curriculum adopted is efficient for the holistic development of the students. Mohd Aderi Che Noh This article comprises discussions related to the concept of the Mosque in Malaysia, as far as conforming to the idea of rahlatan lilalamin, which is the primary basis of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Contrary to the concept of rahmatan lilalamin then came Rahmah Mosque, which is concerned with the unification and peace of the universal ummah. This also repels a narrow understanding of the function of the mosque. In this paper, the author discusses the challenge of establishing a mosque institution that conforms to the concept of rahmatan lilalamin to expose readers to fend off all the extreme views of mosque functions. At the end of the writing, it is reiterated that the role of the mosque should be in line with the concept of lilalalmin's grace. 6 | 2019 article | Knowledge and learning teachers towards the implementation of guided inquiry approach in aqidah curriculum Mohd Aderi Che Noh The guided inquiry approach is an inquiry activity where problems and various questions are raised by the teacher while the student needs to initiate the findings of the item. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to know the level of knowledge and skill of managing the Islamic Education teacher towards the implementation of guided inquiry approach based on Aqidah in high school. Also, this study also identifies the relationship between the two aspects. The methodology of this study is quantitative in the survey of 108 Islamic Education teachers. The descriptive analysis was carried out that both elements of knowledge and skills in managing teachers were at high levels. Spearman's correlation inference analysis also found that the strength of the relation between the two aspects was at a moderate positive level.
