Kertas kerja ini membincangkan Amalan Bersesuaian dengan Perkembangan (ABP) Murid yang menjadi tunjang utama pegangan pendidik awal kanak-kanak di prasekolah Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) seperti yang disarankan dalam Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan (2010; 2017). Fokus utama kajian ini adalah untuk meneroka, meneliti dan memahami secara mendalam bagaimana implementasi Amalan Bersesuaian dengan Perkembangan (ABP) Murid dilaksanakan menerusi proses persediaan dan pengajaran di kelas prasekolah KPM. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah kajian kualitatif berbentuk kajian kes. Data kajian diperoleh menerusi teknik temu bual, pemerhatian pengajaran, dan analisis dokumen. Transkripsi temu bual dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian Atlas.ti versi 8 bagi membantu dan mengemaskinikan data serta tema-tema yang muncul. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa pendidik awal kanak-kanak di kelas prasekolah KPM mempunyai kefahaman dan implementasi ABP yang baik ketika proses persediaan dan pengajaran khususnya bagi 7 prinsip daripada 12 prinsip yang ada dalam ABP. Kesimpulannya hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa pendidik awal kanak-kanak di prasekolah KPM mengetahui kepentingan Amalan Bersesuaian dengan Perkembangan (ABP) Murid dalam pendidikan prasekolah dan impaknya terhadap perkembangan potensi kanak-kanak secara menyeluruh. |
