Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian dilaksanakan bertujuan membangunkan Modul Aktiviti Kepelbagaian Deria Kanak-Kanak Bawah Umur Dua Tahun sebagai usaha meningkatkan kemahiran penggunaan kepelbagaian deria seterusnya memberi kefahaman lebih jelas terhadap proses pembelajaran yang dilalui. Penyelidikan menggunakan kajian Rekabentuk dan Pembangunan (Design & Development Research – DDR) terdiri daripada tiga fasa iaitu fasa pertama merupakan fasa analisis keperluan menggunakan kaedah tinjauan melalui soal selidik ke atas 210 sampel merupakan guru-guru yang mengajar di Taska berdaftar di bawah Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) Negeri Perak. Fasa kedua merupakan fasa reka bentuk pembangunan modul bertujuan mengenalpasti komponen utama dan elemen-elemen berkaitan aktiviti kepelbagaian deria menggunakan soal selidik dan temubual bersama 17 orang pakar yang mempunyai kepakaran bidang pendidikan awal kanak-kanak iaitu pensyarah, guru dan pegawai kebajikan masyarakat (JKM). Seterusnya adalah fasa penilaian kebolehgunaan modul menggunakan soal selidik dan soalan temubual bersama 13 orang pakar terdiri daripada guru-guru dan tujuh orang pakar bidang. Dapatan analisis keperluan menunjukkan terdapat keperluan untuk membangunkan Modul Aktiviti Kepelbagaian Deria Kanak-Kanak Bawah Umur Dua Tahun untuk guru-guru. Untuk fasa kedua, melalui analisis Teknik Fuzzy Delphi, tujuh komponen modul dan 27 elemen telah ditentukan dengan nilai threshold (d) £ 0.2, kesepakatan pakar ³ 75% dan nilai - cut = 0.5. Dapatan fasa ketiga melalui Teknik Kumpulan Nominal Ubahsuai (Modified NGT) menunjukkan kesepakatan pakar melebihi 80% terhadap kesemua item yang disenaraikan dalam modul. Hasil temubual dijalankan ke atas tujuh orang pakar menunjukkan terdapat persetujuan terhadap modul yang dibangunkan akan meningkatkan perkembangan deria kanak-kanak dan pengetahuan guru melalui perlaksanaan aktiviti kepelbagaian deria. Kesimpulannya, pembangunan Modul Aktiviti Kepelbagaian Deria adalah selaras dengan kehendak dan keperluan guru-guru serta mempunyai tahap kebolehgunaan yang tinggi berdasarkan proses pembangunan dan penilaian yang dilaksanakan. Implikasi kajian pembangunan Modul Aktiviti Kepelbagaian Deria memberikan manfaat besar kepada perkembangan deria kanak-kanak dan sistem pendidikan awal kanak-kanak Malaysia, khususnya untuk kanak-kanak bawah umur dua tahun.
