Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun
Tujuan kajian ini ialah untuk mengidentifikasi pengetahuan, sikap, dan tingkah laku kelestarian alam sekitar dalam kalangan guru prasekolah di daerah Lipis, Pekan serta Rompin di negeri Pahang. Pendekatan teori tingkah laku terancang serta Model Knowledge, Attitude, Practices (KAP) diguna pakai dalam kajian ini. Kaedah kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk tinjauan diguna pakai sebagai metodologi penyelidikan. Populasi kajian merangkumi 167 individu, di mana sampel telah dipilih secara rawak mudah mengguna pakai jadual pensampelan Krejcie dan Morgan, melibatkan 128 orang guru prasekolah. Instrumen kajian merangkumi satu set soal selidik yang telah diubahsuai dan diadaptasi mengikut konteks penyelidikan. Soal selidik ini telah mendapat pengesahan daripada empat orang pakar melalui proses penilaian kesahan kandungan serta kesahan muka, dengan nilai bacaan keseluruhannya melebihi 70%. Kebolehpercayaan soal selidik diukur mengguna pakai indeks Alpha Cronbach, yang menghasilkan nilai pekali = 0.913. Data kajian telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta inferensi iaitu frekuensi (kekerapan), peratusan, nilai min, sisihan piawai, korelasi Pearson serta ANOVA sehala. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan tahap pengetahuan (M = 4.63, SP = 0.35), sikap (M= 4.55, SP= 0.37), tingkah laku (M=3.9, SP = 0.63) berada pada tahap tinggi. Keputusan ANOVA sehala menunjukkan bahawa tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan antara tahap tingkah laku kelestarian alam sekitar berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar dengan nilai [F (2,125) = 0.661, p = 0.518], p > 0.05. Selain itu, analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara tingkah laku kelestarian alam sekitar terhadap pengetahuan kelestarian alam sekitar (r = 0.57; p < 0.05) dan sikap kelestarian alam sekitar (r = 0.67, p < 0.05). Kesimpulannya, dapatan utama kajian ini mendapati bahawa guru prasekolah mempunyai tahap pengetahuan, sikap dan tingkah laku kelestarian alam sekitar yang memuaskan namun kurang mendapat pendedahan dan latihan pengajaran dan pembelajaran mengenai pendidikan alam sekitar. Implikasinya, pemerkasaan pendidikan kelestarian alam sekitar dalam program pendidikan guru perlu dipertingkatkan seiring dengan pemupukan pengetahuan, sikap dan tingkah laku kelestarian alam sekitar.
