Abstract : Perpustakaan Tuanku Bainun |
Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk menilai keberkesanan Model Konstruktivisme Lima Fasa Needham (MKLFN) terhadap pencapaian dan minat pelajar tingkatan empat dalam mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Kajian yang berbentuk kuantitatif ini menggunakan Ujian Pencapaian Ekonomi (UPE) dan soal selidik sebagai instrumen bagi mendapatkan maklumat kajian. Seramai 40 responden yang merupakan pelajar tingkatan empat daripada dua buah sekolah di daerah Kulai, Johor terlibat dalam kajian yang dipilih melalui teknik pensampelan rawak berstrata. 20 responden dikategorikan dalam kumpulan eksperimen yang mengikuti pembelajaran dan pemudahcaraan (PdPc) MKLFN manakala 20 responden lain berada dalam kumpulan kawalan yang mengikuti kaedah pembelajaran konvensional. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif (min, frekuensi, sisihan piawai dan peratusan) dan inferensi (ujian-t). Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk melihat tahap dan perubahan pencapaian serta minat pelajar. Sementara itu, analisis inferensi yang melibatkan ujian-T menjelaskan perbezaan skor min pencapaian antara kumpulan eksperimen dengan kumpulan kawalan serta skor min minat pelajar sebelum dan selepas proses intervensi. Dapatan analisis deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan min bagi tahap pencapaian dalam ujian pra dan pasca kumpulan eksperimen (ujian pra = 21.90, ujian pasca = 66.45) dan kumpulan kawalan (ujian pra = 22.25, ujian pasca = 31.00). Nilai min tahap minat juga menunjukkan peningkatan positif bagi ujian pra dan pasca kumpulan eksperimen (ujian pra = 2.73, ujian pasca = 4.27) dan kumpulan kawalan (ujian pra = 2.68, ujian pasca = 2.77). Hasil ujian-T pula menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan (t = -8.059, p = 0.000 < 0.05) antara kumpulan eksperimen dan kawalan dalam pencapaian ujian pasca UPE. Manakala hasil analisis ujian-t terhadap minat menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan (t = 22.719, p = 0.000 < 0.05) antara ujian pra dan pasca soal selidik. Hasil penyelidikan menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan MKLFN dapat meningkatkan pencapaian dan minat pelajar. Kajian ini juga menunjukkan bahawa PdPc MKLFN sesuai digunakan sebagai kaedah pengajaran bagi mata pelajaran Ekonomi berbanding kaedah konvensional. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini dapat memberi implikasi positif serta panduan kepada guru dan sekolah untuk mengaplikasikan kaedah PdPc yang berkesan dalam bilik darjah serta meningkatkan kefahaman dan minat pelajar bagi mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Selain itu, kaedah MKLFN dalam PdPc juga berupaya untuk meningkatkan kualiti bagi pembelajaran pelajar di sekolah tersebut. |
