Latihan jeda berintensiti tinggi (HIIT) merupakan salah satu kaedah latihan yang semakin popular pada masa kini dan biasa digunakan oleh ahli sukan dan juga pengamal kecergasan untuk meningkatkan prestasi. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk menentukan kesan latihan HIIT yang mengunakan tayar dan tali terhadap kecergasan kardiovaskular (KK), kuasa puncak (KP), dan komposisi tubuh (KT). Kajian ini adalah berbentuk Quasi-Eksperimental (Pretest-posttest Nonequivalent Comparison). Seramai 52 orang belia lelaki dengan purata umur 22.67 ± 0.92 tahun secara sukarela telah terlibat dalam kajian ini. Peserta kajian telah dibahagikan kepada dua kumpulan iaitu kumpulan kawalan dan kumpulan ekperimen. Intervensi telah dijalankan selama lapan minggu dengan kekerapan tiga kali seminggu, dan setiap sesi latihan mengambil masa selama 20 minit. Selepas tamat lapan minggu, analisis ANCOVA telah menunjukkan bahawa dengan melaraskan skor ujian pra sebagai kovariat, skor pasca bagi tahap KK dan KP kumpulan eksperimen adalah lebih tinggi dan berbeza secara signifikan dengan skor dari kumpulan kawalan dengan nilai, F (1, 49) = 83.85, p = 0.001, dan F (1, 49) = 7.43, p = 0.009. Manakala skor pasca bagi KT tidak menunjukkan perbezaan yang signifikan antara kumpulan ekperimen dan kumpulan kawalan dengan nilai F (1, 49) = 2.05, p = 0.158. Kesimpulannya, latihan menggunakan tayar dan tali yang dijalankan selama lapan minggu berkesan untuk meningkatkan tahap kecergasan kardiovaskular dan kuasa dalam kalangan belia lelaki, namun begitu latihan ini tidak berkesan untuk menurunkan peratus lemak badan. |
