Abstract :
Tujuan penulisan artikel ini ialah untuk menunjukkan ilustrasi kaedah pengukuran parameter yang digunapakai dalam perisian Axwoman bagi analisis Space Syntax. Pengiraan langkah demi langkah ditunjukkan dengan menggunakan ruang bandar sebenar di Putrajaya. Perisian Axwoman iaitu sambungan kepada ArcMap dalam ArcGIS versi 10 telah digunakan bagi aplikasi Space Syntax ini. Kemampuan Space Syntax ini untuk menganalisis ruang menjadikan Space Syntax sebagai alat yang unik untuk permodelan persekitaran bandar atau ruang geografi. Pengukuran yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahawa integrasi global yang paling tinggi di Putrajaya ialah di Jalan Lebuh Sentosa (FID 15) dan integrasi lokal yang paling tinggi ialah bagi FID 631 yang mewakili beberapa jalan iaitu Jalan Permodenan, Jalan P4 X dan Jalan Tun Hussein. Hasil kajian ini telah menunjukkan bahawa parameter Space Syntax dan kaedah pengukurannya untuk memahami susun atur ruangan jalan raya. Malah, hasil dari kajian ini juga telah membantu untuk mengenal pasti laluan jalan raya yang mempunyai ruang integrasi yang paling tinggi untuk peringkat global dan peringkat lokal di kawasan Putrajaya.
