Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Objektif utama kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti faktor-faktor yang
mempengaruhi corak perbelanjaan pelajar kolej swasta. Seramai 279 orang pelajar yang
terdiri daripada pelbagai program telah dipilih sebagai sampel kajian. Pendekatan
kuantitatif digunakan dalam kajian ini dan data diperoleh melalui borang soal selidik.
Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan ujian regresi pelbagai. Dapatan analisis regresi
pelbagai menujukkan bahawa faktor rakan sebaya (P=-8.153, p=O.027) dan latar
belakang keluarga (P=5.401, p=O.079) mempengaruhi corak perbelanjaan pelajar.
Faktor-faktor lain iaitujenama, keinginan sendiri dan gaya hidup mewah didapati tidak
mempengaruhi corak perbelanjaan pelajar. Kesimpulannya model regresi pelbagai
yang dicadangkan dalam kajian ini dapat membantu pihak tertentu mengambillangkah
pencegahan supaya pelajar dapat membuat keputusan secara rasional apabila
berbe1anja. Implikasi kajian menekankan kesedaran kepada pe1ajar untuk
menggunakan wang pembiayaan pendidikan dengan sebaiknya tanpa terikut dengan
gaya perbelanjaan rakan sebaya dan faktor-faktor lain. Kajian ini turut mencadangkan
agar pihak kolej dengan kerjasama Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM)
mengambil langkah sewajamya bagi membantu pelajar mengurus wang secara
berhemah. |
