Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris |
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penglibatan ibu bapa di prasekolah
mempengaruhi pertumbuhan emosi positif kanak-kanak. Tiga objektif kajian telah
dibina: mengenal pasti perkembangan emosi kanak-kanak, meneroka kesesuaian
aktiviti dan mengenal pasti tanggungjawab ibu bapa dalam mempengaruhi
pertumbuhan emosi kanak-kanak prasekolah. Kajian ini dijalankan di sebuah
prasekolah di Bagan Datuk, Perak. Seramai 15 orang kanak-kanak berumur di antara 5
hingga 6 tahun bersama-sama 15 orang waris mereka telah dipilih sebagai responden
melalui persampelan mudah dimensional. Kajian ini adalah kajian kualitatif yang
melibatkan reka bentuk kajian ekploratori. Dapatan kajian bagi setiap objektif adalah
berdasarkan data yang dikutip melalui pemerhatian, senarai semak dan temu bual semi
struktur. Semasa proses pemerhatian dijalankan, rakaman video dilakukan semasa
aktiviti ‘Hari Riang Ria Berganding Bahu Bersama Ibu Bapa Prasekolah’ untuk
merekod data. Senarai semak pula digunakan untuk mencatat butiran penting semasa
aktiviti dijalankan. Temu bual semi struktur juga dilakukan selepas aktiviti tersebut.
Kaedah analisis induktif telah diadaptasi untuk menganalisis data yang telah dikutip.
Hasil analisis data mendapati bahawa pemilihan aktiviti yang bersesuaian membantu
perkembangan emosi kanak-kanak. Disamping itu, peranan ibu bapa juga
mempengaruhi pertumbuhan emosi yang positif dikalangan kanak-kanak apabila
mendapat dorongan, sokongan, dan juga sentuhan motivasi semasa melakukan aktiviti.
Pertumbuhan emosi positif kanak-kanak ini diukur berdasarkan jadual ekspresi emosi
yang melibatkan perubahan fisiologi, ekspresi vokal, ekspresi wajah, pergerakan dan
isyarat badan serta reaksi emosi. Kesemua lima ekspresi emosi digunakan untuk
mengukur pertumbuhan emosi. Kesimpulannya, program ini wajar dijalankan di semua
prasekolah agar dapat membantu meningkatkan hubungan antara ibu bapa, kanakkanak
dan pengurusan prasekolah. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa program
penglibatan ibu bapa ini memberi kesan emosi positif kepada kanak-kanak melalui
dorongan dan sokongan daripada penglibatan aktif ibu bapa di prasekolah. |
