Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Objektif kajian ini adalah bagi mengenal pasti polisi kokurikulum Ensembel Kombo Sekolah Menengah (EKSM) dan hubungan antara persepsi kefahaman polisi dalam kalangan guru pembimbing, sokongan iklim sekolah, kompetensi dan penguasaan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Muzik murid yang menyertai EKSM. Kaedah kualitatif dan kuantitatif telah dirangka dalam kajian ini bagi menjawab lima soalan kajian dan lima hipotesis. Teknik analisis dokumen diguna pakai bagi menginterpretasikan polisi berpandukan model ADEPT (Analysis of Determinants of Policy Impact). Dokumen yang dipilih ialah kertas konsep, minit mesyuarat, surat-menyurat dan buku panduan kokurikulum. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan menggunakan model PLS-SEM. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan persepsi kefahaman polisi dalam kalangan guru pembimbing (M = 4.33, SD = 0.39), sokongan iklim sekolah (M = 4.11, SD = 0.466), kompetensi (M = 4.02, SD = 0.517) dan penguasaan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Muzik murid yang menyertai EKSM (M = 3.95, SD = 0.496) adalah tinggi. Kompetensi guru pembimbing adalah signifikan dengan penguasaan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Muzik murid yang menyertai EKSM. Selain itu, kajian ini turut mendapati kompetensi guru pembimbing bertindak sebagai mediator antara sokongan iklim sekolah dengan penguasaan mata pelajaran Pendidikan Muzik murid EKSM. Implikasi kajian ini mencadangkan agar polisi pelaksanaan kokurikulum EKSM ditambah baik selari dengan konsep kokurikulum sebagai pelengkap kurikulum dan masalah guru yang pasif dalam kokurikulum EKSM diatasi. Kajian ini turut menyarankan kajian-kajian lanjutan bagi mendapatkan kefahaman yang lebih mendalam berkaitan pelaksanaan aktiviti kokurikulum muzik sebagai pelengkap kurikulum bagi mata pelajaran Pendidikan Muzik.
