Kajian ini meneroka pelaksanaan aktiviti Circle Time untuk kemahiran komunikasi
kanak-kanak TADIKA. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian kes telah
digunakan dalam kajian ini. Seramai dua orang kanak-kanak TADIKA kelas 5 tahun,
seorang guru kelas 5 tahun dan dua orang ibu kepada peserta kajian terlibat dalam kajian
ini. Kaedah kajian yang digunakan adalah pemerhatian dan temu bual separa
berstruktur. Pemerhatian terhadap kanak-kanak telah dijalankan sebanyak sepuluh kali
dengan memfokuskan kepada kemahiran komunikasi semasa aktiviti Circle Time.
Setiap guru dan ibu telah ditemu bual sekali untuk meneroka pandangan mereka tentang
aktiviti Circle Time dan impaknya terhadap kemahiran komunikasi kanak-kanak.
Pengkaji telah menggunakan kaedah analisis tematik untuk menganalisis dapatan
kajian. Beberapa tema telah terhasil bagi menjawab persoalan kajian. Tema yang
muncul adalah aktiviti interaktif, pendekatan yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan
kemahiran komunikasi kanak-kanak, dan aktiviti berpusatkan kanak-kanak. Aktiviti
interaktif seperti bercerita, belajar melalui bermain, dan bersoal jawab merupakan
aktiviti yang diamalkan oleh guru setiap pagi. Pendekatan yang bersesuaian seperti
pendekatan nyanyian muzik, bersepadu, dan belajar melalui bermain merupakan
pendekatan yang menyumbang kepada kemahiran komunikasi kanak-kanak. Aktiviti
yang berpusatkan kanak-kanak seperti bersoal jawab dan bermain adalah penting dalam
mengoptimumkan komunikasi kanak-kanak. Kesimpulannya, pelaksanaan aktiviti
Circle Time melalui aktiviti interaktif, pendekatan yang bersesuaian dan berpusatkan
kanak-kanak mampu meningkatkan kemahiran komunikasi kanak-kanak. Implikasi
kajian menunjukkan bahawa guru TADIKA perlu menjalani latihan profesional
berterusan mengenai aktiviti Circle Time untuk meningkatkan kemahiran bahasa dan
komunikasi kanak-kanak. |
