Abstract : Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka amalan kepimpinan moral yang wujud dalam kalangan guru besar lepasan PRIme, anjuran Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB), yang ditempatkan di beberapa buah sekolah rendah di Malaysia. PRIme merupakan program transisi PGB dalam memantapkan pelbagai kompetensi kepimpinan dan pengurusan serta menimba pengalaman daripada PGB yang akan bersara atau yang akan bertukar dan dapat memahami dan membiasakan diri dengan persekitaran dan iklim sekolah. Elemen kepimpinan yang dikaji dalam kalangan Guru besar ialah amalan kepimpinan moral yang wujud aspek dalam pengurusan organisasi sekolah, aspek pengajaran dan pembelajaran dan dalam aspek kemenjadian murid. Kajian ini dilaksanakan menerusi pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kajian tindakan partisipatif (Participatory Action Research atau PAR). Model PAR tiga gelung yang diadaptasi daripada Crane dan Richardson (2000) telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Seramai 21 orang peserta kajian dalam kalangan guru besar, para pentadbir kanan dan guru-guru akademik dipilih daripada tiga buah sekolah Kebangsaan (SK). Data untuk kajian ini dikutip melalui instrumen temu bual, pemerhatian dan catatan jurnal. Data yang dikumpul dianalisis menggunakan kaedah analisis tematik. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa guru besar lepasan PRIme, di setiap sekolah mampu mengembangkan amalan kepimpinan moral dalam pengurusan organisasi sekolah, aspek pengajaran dan pembelajaran dan aspek kemenjadian murid. Antara elemen moral yang dikembangkan dalam kepimpinan pengurusan organisasi sekolah ialah elemen perancangan yang berteraskan nilai moral dan elemen pengorganisasian sumber manusia yang insani. Selanjutnya elemen moral yang dikembangkan dalam aspek kepimpinan pengajaran dan pembelajaran ialah elemen pengajaran transformatif, pembelajaran aktif dan pentaksiran yang berasaskan manusia. Di samping itu, elemen moral yang dikembangkan dalam aspek kemenjadian murid, ialah kemenjadian dalam akademik, kokurikulum dan sahsiah murid. Implikasi kajian ini membantu memberikan maklumat yang penting kepada kepimpinan moral guru besar, pengurusan organisasi sekolah dan modul PRIme dalam kepimpinan moral yang lebih efisien.
