Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneroka cabaran yang dihadapi oleh guru Pendidikan Khas di program PPKI Masalah Pendengaran dari aspek pengetahuan dan kesediaan guru Pendidikan khas yang mengajar murid masalah pendengaran. Kajian kualitatif dengan reka bentuk kajian kes ini telah melibatkan enam orang guru pendidikan khas masalah pendengaran dari Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi di salah sebuah sekolah rendah di negeri Selangor. Dengan menggunakan teknik pensampelan bertujuan. Kajian ini melibatkan dua pendekatan kaedah pengumpulan data iaitu temu bual dan pemerhatian. Data kajian ini dianalisis secara tematik dengan menggunakan Perisian Nvivo versi 12. Hasil kajian ini mendapati bahawa beberapa responden kajian kurang pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam mengajar Murid Berkeperluan Khas Masalah Pendengaran rentetan daripada kebanyakan responden kajian ini tidak mempunyai kelayakan akademik dalam pengkhususan bidang pendidikan khas masalah pendengaran serta ditambah dengan tahap kemahiran berbahasa isyarat yang rendah. Selain itu, hasil kajian juga mendapati beberapa peserta kajian kurang mahir dalam aspek pengurusan kelas dan tiada panduan yang boleh menjadi rujukan untuk penambahbaikan pendekatan dalam pengurusan kelas. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan pelbagai kursus atau program perlu ditawarkan di institusi yang melatih guru agar dapat menyediakan pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang berkesan dalam mengajar murid masalah pendengaran. |
